"How the estrogen has actually caused this change I couldn’t say, especially given her ectomorphic appearance"

Ectomorphs tend to produce low estrogen themselves, but are not necessarily less affected by the effects of estrogen. Since the estrogen you are talking about was externally sourced, there is no reason to expect ectomorphy to offset its effects. If anything, as with drugs in general, a given quantity introduced to someone with lower body mass is likely to have a stronger effect than the same quantity introduced to someone with higher body mass. Therefore, given the positive correlation between ectomorphy and low body mass (the latter which indeed you also stated Contrapoints has), we should if anything expect the estrogen she has been receiving to have a greater effect than it would have had on a less ectomorphic or otherwise higher body mass person of otherwise similar physiology.

HRT is Western. Avoid it. Those who want to transition should do it the non-Western way (ie. removal of the sexual dimorphism you don't want only; no adding of new sexual dimorphism)!
