Dr. Bandy Lee an American forensic psychiatrist (who works with convicted criminals) and 26 other mental health professionals wrote The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump, in 2018, which has now been updated to The More Dangerous Case of Donald Trump with many other mental health professionals. They did not need to personally diagnose him, they just listened to him and watched what he was doing which gave them enough to warn the US. Sadly, they were ignored. Dr. Stephan Hassan wrote the Cult of Trump back in 2018/2019, but again, no one listened. Imagine where the world would be today, if only these experts had been paid attention to.
The Westerner is never to be trusted. If they say one thing, be sure they will do the opposite. Everyone watching foreign politics is always amazed by the Western mindset _ they can scratch your back at 6.30 and 6.31 stab you. Recall watching Murdoch's cable channel and thinking "West is different to us in Asia" and believed CNN and BBC and Oprah. It was only after I moved to Oz that I realized we were hoodwinked/fooled big time. Just like everyone was so fed up of the old Irish man Biden and his European predecessors, we thought the slightly younger Scottish business tycoon would be a better person to stop interference in Asia. We were fooled by the gift of the gab that this man potrayed that USA would focus on USA /and leave the various other forms of governance in Asia to our methods of governance but instead we are 90 steps back to colonial hegemon in our nick of the woods _ ASIA. 😢😢😢😢Iran needs backing to stop colonial rule in ASIA

As of late August 2026, the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) holds approximately 289.7 million barrels of crude oil.
Total Remaining: 289.7 million barrels (as of the week ending August 21, 2026).
Capacity Status: Filled to roughly 41% of its total authorized capacity of 714 million barrels.
Historical Context: This marks the lowest inventory level in the reserve since November 1982.
Recent Drawdowns: Inventories have fallen due to an emergency program authorized by President Trump to release 172 million barrels in response to Middle East supply disruptions and constraints in the Strait of Hormuz.
When the U.S. imports oil, it primarily buys from North American and Latin American neighbors rather than the Middle East. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the top foreign suppliers are:
Canada: Provides about 60% of total crude oil imports.
Mexico: Accounts for roughly 7% to 8% of crude imports.
Saudi Arabia: Supplies about 5% of crude imports.
Iraq: Contributes about 4% of crude imports.
Brazil: Supplies smaller shares, around 3% of total petroleum imports.
Explain why the US doesn't refine it's own light sweet crude?https://www.reddit.com/r/oil/comments/1ucz9ai/explain_why_the_us_doesnt_refine_its_own_light/
Can someone please ELIF (explain like I'm five), why the US exports most of its light sweet crude and imports heavy sour crude? I know US refineries are geared towards refining heavy sour crude but wouldn't it make financial and national security sense to give those refineries a massive tax break to convert their refineries?
We could be truly energy independent and stop wasting our blood and treasure in the Middle East. What's the hold up? Considering the trillions we've spent on wars in the Middle East, we could have rebuilt just about every refinery in this country by now.
