I'm glad you think so. Therefore please leave and stop wasting our time.

Communication everywhere is unsatisfactory that doesn't mean I'm not still gonna try. Why do you have to talk to me like that? I don't come here a lot and all I'm doing is posing what I regard to be reasonable questions and arguments.

I frickin loved Aryanism for years and I thought its author must be a really kind, open-minded, critical and honest person. Anyway last thing I wanna do is stay where I'm unwelcome so I'm frickin deleting my account.

"And frankly it is unsatisfactory."

this represents your ideal, empathy-cultivating society?

Reminder: We still have a war to win before an empathy-cultivating society is even possible to begin with. Soldiers also conceal their faces, lest enemy agents find out where exactly those soldiers friend's live....

Everyone is hiding their body and face while communicating on this forum. If you find this so unsatisfactory, you are welcome to go here instead:

So we should all settle for faceless verbal communication like on this forum? I don't see any non-human, infant, or otherwise illiterate voices here; this represents your ideal, empathy-cultivating society?

And frankly it is unsatisfactory. No doubt why I've been regarded unfairly. As for your crude jibe, nudity doesn't improve non-verbal communication except on a sexual level, and we're trying to deemphasize sexuality.

They are not convincing the audience that they are sincerely crying, they are just concealing that they are not really crying (which everyone still knows they are not).

Because we know concealing their faces is a tool of deceit. And if they were actually crying? We wouldn't believe it.

"So yes if you required everyone to hide their body and face you're going to severely inhibit empathy."

Couldn't people reveal themselves in private as they get to know each other?

"you're shifting communication to rely more on verbal than non-verbal cues, which makes it easier to deceive in a way; I don't have to fake actual tears, or a loving gaze, I can just make sobbing noises or claim I dearly love you."

That is what sub-par actors do for a crying scene: partially cover their face and make sobbing noises. They are not convincing the audience that they are sincerely crying, they are just concealing that they are not really crying (which everyone still knows they are not).

"So yes if you required everyone to hide their body and face you're going to severely inhibit empathy."

It is not dishonest, as everyone can see that you are hiding them. If anything, it removes the potential for the dishonesty of faking facial expressions/body language (as would be possible if they were visible).

As for empathy, we are more than able to empathize even with characters in text-only novels, so I don't think this is a problem.

You aren't removing the potential for dishonesty overall, you're shifting communication to rely more on verbal than non-verbal cues, which makes it easier to deceive in a way; I don't have to fake actual tears, or a loving gaze, I can just make sobbing noises or claim I dearly love you.

Novels include descriptions of the character's body language, and writing a relatable character takes skill. Not everyone can even talk. And how are we gonna communicate with animals? So yes if you required everyone to hide their body and face you're going to severely inhibit empathy.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hijab

Quote
For some, the hijab is worn by Muslim women to maintain modesty and privacy from unrelated males. According to the Encyclopedia of Islam and Muslim World, modesty concerns both men's and women's "gaze, gait, garments, and genitalia".[10] The Qur'an instructs Muslim women and men to dress modestly.[11]

Wouldn't hiding one's facial expressions/body language be a kind of emotional dishonesty and reduce empathy?
I like modesty in terms of wearing simple, plain clothes
And preventing others from objectifying us, although this would only be necessary among non-Aryans

Exactly. There cannot be a gender-based double-standard of what is considered modest dress. I am open to different countries having different standards of modest dress (and then individuals can choose to live in whichever country has the standard that they prefer), but whatever standard applies must apply to everyone.

I'm curious what you mean by "modest"? Sexual modesty? Uniformity? The clothing itself is modest?

"I would respect it if Muslim men were expected to cover up in the same exact way."

This is what we should promote. (Actually, this is what we already have right now with COVID masks.....)

"Otherwise, it’s completely contrary to our message of emphasizing low sexual dimorphism."

My ancestors in North Africa had men also cover their face. A corrupt version of this can still be seen with the Sanhedja.

How do you guys feel about this tradition, and how would you personally deal with it in the long term? I’m going to be honest: I don’t like the hijab very much, and despise the other two. It strikes me as unnecessary and sexist. I would respect it if Muslim men were expected to cover up in the same exact way. Otherwise, it’s completely contrary to our message of emphasizing low sexual dimorphism. I’m open to hearing arguments for why I should view this in a more positive light, since I admire aspects of modern Islam as I do Christianity, and will undoubtedly interact with people of the Muslim community as Aryanism hopefully gains more traction
