Who was the historical Jesus, and what did he believe?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bXHBT5NTfc
In this talk to his Chinese high school students, Jiang Xueqin argues that Jesus was a unique religious genius who synthesized the major global religions of his day to create a new religion, which we today refer to as Gnosticism.
Like other great religious leaders, Jesus had a three-tier gospel. To the public, he taught that true faith demanded compassion. To his disciples, he taught that true faith demanded self-sacrifice.
Then there were the secret teachings that he shared with his proteges. Jesus believed that we lived in a false reality, and it was only by seeking truth that we could escape from the darkness into the light.
How did the New Testament diverge so sharply from Jesus’ true teachings? This is a topic that will be examined next class.
They have never had a conversation with GOD. It's the devil they talk to, pure evil
The problem isn’t that MAGA worships a different Jesus. The problem is that anyone follows Jesus at all.
Perrotta points out that material wealth is highly valued in the Old Testament; the Hebrews seek it and God promises to bless them with it if they will follow his commandments.[12] Joseph Francis Kelly writes that biblical writers leave no doubt that God enabled men such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Solomon to achieve wealth and that this wealth was a sign of divine favor.

Jesus explicitly condemns excessive love of wealth as an intrinsic evil in various passages in the Gospels, especially in Luke (Luke 16:10–15 being an especially clear example). He also consistently warns of the danger of riches as a hindrance to favor with God
A far-right political activist was fired from a senior leadership role at the Kennedy Center just hours after CNN started asking about his past anti-gay statements and conspiracy theories about Barack Obama.https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-admin-fired-kennedy-center-worker-for-christian-beliefs-after-cnn-report/ar-AA1FJ1A1?ocid=winp2fptaskbar&cvid=9158d4dec6da43b1a262871d2f774782&ei=28#comments
Floyd Brown, whose appointment to the role was never formally announced, previously called homosexuality “a punishment” against the U.S. and condemned the legality of gay sex, in addition to calling Obama a Muslim and questioning his birth certificate, and CNN's KFile reported that he was ousted after those past statements were publicized.
“I refused to recant and was shown the door,” Brown posted on X. “[Kennedy Center interim president Rick Grenell] preemptively fired me for myChristianJewish beliefs on marriage."
Grenell did not respond to a request for comment, but a source familiar with the Kennedy Center confirmed to CNN that Brown, a co-founder of the conservative nonprofit Citizens United, is no longer there and insisted Grenell did not know him or have any involvement in his hiring.
Brown’s leadership role waslisted on his LinkedIn page and his appointment was confirmed by several sources involved with the Kennedy Center.
In addition to his role in founding Citizens United, Brown helped to produce the infamous and racially charged Willie Horton ad during the 1988 presidential campaign and more recently was executive director of Young America’s Foundation.
Brown worked at the Kennedy Center for about a month, according to sources, and donors and staffer had expressed concerns about him potentially driving away the center’s more frequent and core donors in favor of traditional political donors.
He was fired for his Jewish beliefs. Anti-Homosexuality is in the Old Testament\Hebrew Torah, not in the New Testament.
Floyd Brown is not a Christian no matter what he says! To be a Christian you need to believe in the teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus never mentions homosexuality, not even once! But he did command, and command is a strong word, that we love one another as he loved us! He most definitley did not say love one another except for this or that type of sinner! () Our Savior socializes with sinners! Christians know that the covenant with our Lord God changed on the cross! There is no such thing as an "Old Testament" Christian!
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. - Luke 14:26
Prevost does not support the ordination of women to the diaconate, saying that it "doesn't necessarily solve a problem" and "it might make a new problem".[71]

Earlier in 2012, Prevost made comments opposing homosexuality, saying that popular culture fostered "sympathy for beliefs and practices that are at odds with the Gospel"
The hypocrisy in this clip from the White House cabinet meeting is off the charts.
How many sexual assault and fraud claims between them all I wonder.
