Why War With Russia Might Be Closer Than You Think...
Quote
Europe is ramping up for war.
Entire economies – including the UK’s – are being restructured in favour of defence and to preserve the US’s commitment to the NATO alliance…
The reason we’re given – the possibility of war with Russia…
That raises the question: what would a war between Europe and Russia look like?
And would you survive it?

France slams US visa ban as row over European 'censorship' deepens • FRANCE 24 English
Quote
France condemned on Wednesday a US visa ban on Thierry Breton, a former European Union commissioner who helped drive landmark online regulation that Washington believes censors free speech and unfairly targets US tech giants. The Trump administration imposed visa bans on Tuesday on Breton, one of the architects of the EU's Digital Services Act, and other anti-disinformation campaigners who it says were involved in censoring U.S. social media platforms. The visa bans ‍underline growing divergences between Washington and some European capitals over issues including free speech, defence, immigration, far-right politics, trade and the Russia-Ukraine war. Analysis by FRANCE 24 international affairs commentator, Douglas Herbert.

I do agree that we should let the insane speak openly. How else would we know that they are not sane and shouldn't be listened to? I'm glad Trump has never been censored. I judged him over 2 decades ago for what he is and I have never been proven wrong by him!  ::) ;D

No One Wants to Defend the West

Democracies can implement conscription as well, lest we forget the US draft for the Vietnam war as an example. The real point is that Putin's Russia has the political will to wage total war over Ukraine, whereas the west does not.

Germany summons Russian ambassador, accusing Moscow of sabotage, cyberattacks, and interference
Quote
We begin The Day with Germany pointing the finger at Russia. On Friday, Germany summoned Russia’s Ambassador, accusing Moscow of carrying out sabotage, cyberattacks, and election interference. Berlin says it's all part of Russia's hybrid warfare that has intensified since its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Germany is not alone in saying Russia is meddling in Europe. In recent months, Poland has accused Russia of sabotaging its rail infrastructure, while several European nations report violations of their airspace, including drone sightings, airport disruptions, and growing cyber threats. These claims have been denied by the Kremlin.

Russia hails US security strategy, welcomes pullback from Europe, weakened NATO, subjugated Ukraine
Quote
The Kremlin is welcoming US President Donald Trump's new national security strategy and said it largely accorded with Russia's own perceptions, the first time that Moscow has so fulsomely praised such a document from its former Cold War foe. For in-depth analysis and a deeper perspective, Gavin Lee is pleased to welcome Leo Michel, Distinguished Research Fellow at the Institute for National Strategic Studies and Dr. Donald N. Jensen, Director of Russia and Europe at the United States Institute of Peace and an Adjunct Professor at the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, Johns Hopkins University.

Europe 'already formidable enough to deter any aggression even without the United States'
Quote
Quote
A top European Union official warned the United States against interfering in Europe’s affairs and said only European citizens can decide which parties should govern them. European Council President António Costa’s remarks came in reaction to the Trump administration’s new national security strategy, which was published on Friday, praised by Russia, and paints European allies as weak, while offering tacit support to far-right political parties. For nin-depth analysis and a deeper perspective, Jean-Émile Jammine, is pleased to welcome Ambassador Claude-France Arnould is a former senior French diplomat, and Senior Fellow for European Defence at the Brussels Institute for Geopolitics.

"how does the US actually recover from Trumpism without collapsing itself?"

The main difficulty is winning back international trust. Even if a leftist administration retakes power at some point, how does it convince other countries that MAGA will not come back again later? The only way to do so is, as I have said from the beginning with absolute seriousness, to physically exterminate everyone who voted for Trump in 2020 or 2024. Without the whole world witnessing American determination in carrying this out, why should anyone ever trust the US again?

X WAR: U.S. and Russia vs. the EU | World News Tonight
Quote
Main topics covered tonight:

X Online Spat: Russia and U.S. vs. the European Union
As Elon Musk took to X to bash the European Union, Polish FM Radosław Sikorski answered the richest man in the world and told him to "go to Mars." This comes in the wake of U.S.'s new Security Strategy that claims Europe is facing quote "civilizational collapse". Polish PM Donald Tusk has sharply hit back at Washington in what is now one of the world’s most-viewed social media posts of the weekend.

Hegseth says "model ally" Poland to receive "special favor"
As Europe faces the reality of Washington's newfound security position, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is doubling down and saying it's time for hard-nosed realism, instead of utopian idealism. At the same time, Moscow is welcoming America’s about-face, even as Hegseth promises a special favor for some model allies, including Poland.

Is peace in Ukraine near?
Donald Trump’s outgoing envoy Keith Kellog says a peace deal is close for the war-torn country. In fact, Kellog insists negotiations are in the last ten meters with land concessions and the future of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant the last two sticking points to be resolved with Russia.

Sometimes you just have to spit in the face of all of your allies in favor of a racist "gas station with a military" called Russia so that Russia doesn't release the pictures of you blowing "bubba" I guess?

Lest we also forget that it's the Russian nation that's constantly collapsing, not European nations...

This also begs the question; how does the US actually recover from Trumpism without collapsing itself?

Is This a Declaration of War by Trump Against Institutions of the European Union?
Quote
2025-12-05 | DAILY UPDATES #071 | Tonight, Washington has done something that every Kremlin propagandist and every European far-right influencer could only dream of.
The White House has released a new National Security Strategy of the United States of America – the big, legally mandated blueprint that says: “Here is how America sees the world. Here is who we stand with. Here is who we stand against.” And it’s not good news for Europe.
