When it comes transgender debate, one shouldn't ask "should transwomen be allowed in women spaces" but instead "should there even be women spaces in the first place".

Gender segregation should be opposed by the True Left, since we're against culturally reinforcing sexual dimorphism in general. In a True Left society, one's sex should only matter for medical needs just like one's blood type. Note how there's no societal segregation on blood type.
As a bonus, by dismantling gender segregation we make society more welcoming to those with non-binary identities too.

Obsession with sexual dimorphism is the main cause of transphobia/homophobia.

Transmisogyny! (bigotry against trans women)

No one's giving trans men flak, because they have "safer" female biology! They're "victims" of "internalized misogyny" or "violence by cis males when they enter male spaces". Whereas trans women are "aggressors" "imposing themselves on female spaces". What a colourful narrative about people just because they were born with penises or vaginas!

We're at a difficult crossroads in the queer freedom movement where we have to divorce from a large part of the feminist movement.

But good riddance I say! There's no place for misandry in an enlightened society.

When a TERF says "Those with male biology are not welcome in womens sports/womens restrooms"

Say: "It's wrong to judge people based on sex!"

When they say "If you were given a bowl of identical M&Ms, knowing one is laced with deadly poison, would you eat one?"

Say: "Is this a metaphor for black people? Poor people? People with tattoos? People with mesomorphic physiques? Teenagers? Or are you singling out biological males for prejudice because you're a sexist?"

As a biological female myself I say: TERFs do not speak for me! Trans women, you are welcome!

Sort of unrelated, but I find it annoying when reactionary Hispanics try to claim that people pushing for more gender neutrality in Spanish is “racist neo-colonialism”. Every single time the topic is brought up, it devolves into a massive argument, as if some people preferring to use “latine” over “latino” is the biggest tragedy and moral failing of our century. Did they forget that Spanish itself was a colonial language to begin with? And do they also not realize that none of the major Native American languages in Latin America have grammatical gender? Not Nahuatl, Maya, Quechua, or Guarani. By their own logic, if they’re so concerned about “neo-colonialism”, the “SJW” position on gender in Spanish is the one fighting against colonialism. Not that I’d expect such introspection. I have a feeling that these people like to pull the “Leftists are the REAL racists/colonialists” card when it suits them, and then immediately revert back to their Eurocentrism when the coast is clear

I feel like semantics are a massive reason why the debate on "sexuality" is often so unproductive. We call people's orientations "sexualities", as if sex is the core of a relationship and actual romantic love is merely an extension of that, when it should so obviously be the other way around. Romantic love should be the core, but of course, both traditional and progressive societies are too obsessed with sex to see the bigger picture. When you try to explain to a right winger who happens to be against homo"""sexuality""" why the concept shouldn't be looked down upon as any less meaningful than a hetero"""sexual""" relationship, the right winger in question will often immediately go to images of sodomy in their head, along with any other images typically associated with such a relationship that they personally find distasteful. And why WOULDN'T it conjure such images in their head, when even the words we use to describe ROMANTIC ATTRACTION involve the word "sex"? Why do we not call it something like homoromanticism or something similar? I know that the end goal is to drop words describing various attractions from common use all together since they weren't important until rightists and false leftists made it important, but it's so painfully obvious that it was a mistake to let dishonorable people coin these terms in the first place.
