If filmmakers could make better casting choices, perhaps people would have a less negative image.
This is merely a reflection of the plebianisation of "Savuthie" culture. For example, previously, meat was taboo and most people were flexitarian, even though South India was majority non-vegetarian. Now, Southoids complain about how "Aryan Naarthies" are "imposing Brahmanical values" by promoting vegetarianism and brag about eating meat. Another example is the promotion of inceldom (coupled with Eurocentrism) through movies: mediocre looking men pursue above average looking women, with the women often turning them away, but eventually settling for the man, for which she is praised for "not being shallow".
