Quote
Fish oil supplements have come under fire recently after research found many brands make claims about heart health that aren't backed up by clinical trial data. Now there's even more bad news for these supplements: Many consumers are getting fish oil pills that are rancid.
...
The researchers discovered that 68% (or 23 out of 34) of the flavored supplements and 13% (five out of 38) of the unflavored ones exceeded the TOTOX (total oxidation value) upper limit set by the Global Organization for EPA and DHA, which measures oxidation in the supplements — meaning they had oxidized and were rancid.
...
One study of 54 healthy participants who took oxidized (rancid) fish oil, high-quality fish oil or high-oleic sunflower oil found that those in the rancid fish oil group experienced significant (and unfavorable) effects on lipoproteins — particles made of protein and fats that carry cholesterol through your bloodstream to your cells
...
Best-case scenario, says Frame, "these supplements don't work because they don't provide that beneficial antioxidant property." But, she says, there's also a risk they may increase inflammation in the body. Bodily inflammation has been linked to a slew of health issues, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes and some forms of cancer.

Keatley agrees. "Consuming rancid or oxidized fish oil supplements may not provide the intended health benefits. In fact, it may lead to digestive discomfort, such as burping, indigestion or diarrhea," she says. "Over time, the consumption of oxidized fats may contribute to cellular damage and inflammation."

"What "nutrition" is destroyed from dry-cooking?"

Eat a slice of raw carrot. Eat another slice of carrot grilled for an hour. Can you tell which is more nutritious?

"Water-soluble nutrients like Vit. C"

Do you think people in the ancient world (who had no notion of "Vitamin C" in their minds) would be unable to tell which is more nutritious?

(For that matter, how old were you when you first learned about "vitamins"? Try to remember back to before you learned this. I am quite confident that even then you would have been able to tell which slice of carrot is less nutritious had you been asked back then.)

"How does a child prevent getting rickets"

Sunlight.

"without dependency on Vit. D"

"Vitamin D" is just the model you choose to use to describe what is going on. The ancients were well aware that exposure to sunlight is healthy for children's bones without any notion of "Vitamin D" in their minds. This is what I am trying to get the world back to.

Maybe it's time to start thinking in terms of the foods themselves as integral entities instead of - as per Western reductionism - attributing the value of the food to the value of supposed "vitamins" and "minerals" supposedly "in" food?

I told you so:

Quote
Taking vitamin or mineral supplements could be feeding tumours and allowing them to grow, suggests new research.

Common antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, and selenium and zinc when taken additionally can all cause blood vessels in cancer to grow.

The discovery has come as a surprise

Not to me.

Quote
The researchers said that natural levels in food were fine but if people take supplements containing antioxidants as well then the extra amount can fuel tumour growth.

How did I know that supplements are unhealthy without needing to do any research? How inferior are Western scientists compared to me? How inferior is Western medicine compared to every other system of medicine in history, none of which used such crude concepts as "vitamins", "minerals" and "antioxidants"?

Quote
“We’ve found that antioxidants activate a mechanism that causes cancer tumours to form new blood vessels, which is surprising, since it was previously thought that antioxidants have a protective effect.

Not by me. You thought so because you are inferior. You are inferior because you are a Western scientist.

“The new blood vessels nourish the tumours and can help them grow and spread.”

[...]Ironically, although scientific advances have led to effective strategies for preventing diabetes, the pathway to cure has remained elusive. In fact, if one views diabetes from a public health and overall societal standpoint, little progress has been made toward conquering the disease during the past 200 years, and we are arguably worse off now than we were in 1812. Two centuries ago, severe insulin deficiency dominated the clinical presentation of diabetes. Although it is possible that some people had milder forms of hyperglycemia at that time, they largely escaped clinical detection. In 2012, the commonly encountered spectrum of diabetes is quite different. Although severe insulin deficiency still occurs, it now accounts for only about 10% of cases overall and can be readily treated with insulin. The vast majority of patients with diabetes are overweight and have a combination of insulin resistance and impaired insulin secretion. The prevalence of this form of diabetes has been increasing dramatically, particularly in the past three to four decades, resulting in a worldwide epidemic that has made diabetes one of the most common and most serious medical conditions humankind has had to face...

Good links, but please quote the important information!

First link:

Quote
In the early 1900’s there were a variety of doctors and healing modalities in America. Some of the medical specialties included chiropractic, naturopathy, homeopathy, holistic medicine and herbal medicine. To eliminate the competition Rockefeller he hired a contractor named Abraham Flexner to submit a report to Congress in 1910. This report “concluded” that there were too many doctors and medical schools in America, and that all the natural healing modalities which had existed for hundreds of years were unscientific quackery. The report called for the standardization of medical education, whereby only the AMA (another monopoly) would be allowed to grant medical school licensure in the U.S.
...
With new laws in place, Rockefeller teamed up with Andrew Carnegie and started funding medical schools all over America on the strict condition that they only taught allopathic medicine. Through the power of their huge “grants”, this powerful team systematically dismantled the previous curricula of these medical schools, removing any mention of the healing power of herbs or natural treatments. Teachings on diet and other natural (non-drug) treatments were also completely removed from medical programs.

After removing traditional medicine from medical schools, Rockefeller made sure to secure his monopoly by launching a targeted smear campaign against his competitors. Homeopathy and natural medicines were discredited and demonized through the newspapers and other media of the time.  Some doctors were even jailed for using natural medicine treatments, including treatments that had been used safely and effectively for decades before. In a very short time, medical colleges were all homogenized. All the students were taught the same allopathic system and medicine was now defined as a process of prescribing patented drugs.
...
To quickly summarize what happened in China: The China Medical Board (CMB) was created in 1914 by the Rockefeller Foundation (RF) and provided with a $12 million grant. The RF’s goal was to “modernize medical education and to improve the practice of medicine in China”.  They started by building a hospital in Beijing (Peking Union Medical College, opened in 1919), but they were unable to expand to other locations (as planned) due to mounting expenses.

Second link:

Quote
The subversion of the status of Chinese medicine in China is closely related to the "capital conspiracy" of the Rockefeller consortium of the United States.
...
Looking at historical data, it can be found that in the 1930s, the school of Chinese medicine not only lags behind Western medicine in terms of scale, but also began to fully accept the model of Western medicine in the system.
...
After 1840, the West used gunboats to blast open the door of China, and step by step looted China from one of the richest countries in the world to an extremely poor country. The Chinese were conquered by them militarily, but it is not easy to conquer Chinese culture. Without conquering Chinese culture, one cannot conquer the hearts of Chinese people. So they adopted a long-term strategy: use part of the Boxer indemnity to establish universities in China and absorb a large number of Chinese students in order to cultivate their own spokespersons.
...
China, a country with hundreds of millions of people at that time, was using Chinese medicine and traditional medicine. Most of the Chinese population does not see western medicine, so there is no market for western medicine.

Therefore, in this context, a capital conspiracy to achieve "modernization, scientific and internationalization" of Chinese medicine, but aimed at eliminating Chinese medicine, appeared.
...
In 1915, the Union Medical College was established in China to bring in Western medicine and train Chinese people to learn Western medicine for free in the name of an academic foundation. This foundation can sponsor schools that teach Western medicine in China, but there is a condition that these students and through these students instill the Chinese people the idea of abandoning the "safe, effective and cheap Chinese medicine" that has been handed down since ancient times, and Believe in expensive western medicine. But Chinese medicine is safe, effective and cheap, and its competitiveness is very strong, but how to circumvent this? Through "science"! So the Rockefeller consortium said under the banner of "science": Chinese medicine is unscientific.

This bypasses the most competitive aspects of Chinese medicine. From the ideological point of view, let the people know that science is the best thing. Chinese medicine is not scientific, so Chinese medicine is not good.
This made the traditional Chinese medicine developed by the Chinese since ancient times gradually disappear.
...
In the name of the Academic Foundation, Rockefeller and his family donated a little money to the Chinese medical community. 'Internationalization' aims to make the Chinese people doubt their academic roots and systems of Chinese medicine, so much so that they are disgusted.
...
the strategy of using Chinese people to eliminate Chinese medicine was applied seamlessly here, so much so that today, decades later, Chinese medicine has come to the end of the day. , The medical community is still debating whether TCM is scientific and modern.
Nowadays, people cannot see what the Rockefeller Consortium has done
...
if they can't Through large-scale animal experiments to "verify" the effectiveness of their ancient acupuncture and moxibustion, this cannot be considered as having any "scientific value".

https://meridianhealthclinic.com/how-rockefeller-created-the-business-of-western-medicine/

....One shocking fact that I found while researching this post was that Rockefeller didn’t stop at U.S. borders. He actually went into China to spread Western Medicine. Upon hearing this I actually got chills down my spine!  Rockefeller wasn’t content with just wiping out traditional medicine in America, he saw a bigger market on the other side of the world and wanted to remove Traditional Chinese Medicine from China!

In 2004, after the death of Rockefeller Jr., American Hans Rusk wrote "The Truth about the Rockefeller Drug Empire: The Drug Story" (The Truth about the Rockefeller Drug Empire: The Drug Story), which revealed Rockefeller's conspiracy against Chinese medicine.

With the spreading of the missionary movements, Rockefeller became increasingly interested in China. His foundation bought the Union Medical School and renamed it the "Peking Union Medical College."

The foundation not just wanted to establish a first-class school of medicine in China. It also introduced the US Johns Hopkins model to the Peking Union Medical College Hospital, and viewed it as a laboratory of their social ideas, which reflects the foundation's ambition to change China.

https://studyfinds.org/cancer-drugs-nothing-for-patients/

Quote
GOTHENBURG, Sweden — Cancer researchers continue to roll out new and promising treatments for patients all over the world. However, a new study finds that many end up being completely ineffective, failing to improve the quality of life or extend the lifespans of cancer patients. Specifically, researchers in Sweden found that up to two in three cancer drugs prove to be useless for patients after years of research.
...
The Gothenburg team examined 22 cancer drugs approved for reimbursement in Sweden over the last 10 years, examining studies that tested their ability to improve quality of life or lengthen lifespans. On average, these reports examined the drugs for 6.6 years.

Results revealed only seven of the 22 drugs had at least one study which showed a clear benefit for cancer patients. Randomized controlled trials on the other 15 failed to show any tangible benefits for people with cancer. Only one drug in the study showed an ability to both improve the quality of life and extend lifespans for patients.
...
Study authors say the fact that cancer treatment research is taking up more and more of the limited resources within health systems means there should be more scrutiny over the drugs which do receive approval for use.

“The lack of confirmatory evidence for important patient outcomes is problematic and creates uncertainty about how these drugs actually contribute to meaningful patient benefit, and ultimately how effectively resources are being used within healthcare,” Strand says.

Quote
They took blockbuster drugs for weight loss and diabetes. Now their stomachs are paralyzed
...
“I wish I never touched it. I wish I’d never heard of it in my life,” said Knight, 37, of Angie, Louisiana. “This medicine made my life hell. So much hell. It has cost me money. It cost me a lot of stress; it cost me days and nights and trips with my family. It’s cost me a lot, and it’s not worth it. The price is too high.”
...
“And even now, being off the medication for almost a year, I’m still having a lot of problems,” Allen said. She said she was at urgent care recently after vomiting so much that she became dehydrated.
...
Wright said she now vomits so frequently that she had to take a leave of absence from her job.

“I’ve almost been off Ozempic for a year, but I’m still not back to my normal,” Wright said.

The diabetes drug Ozempic, and its sister drug for weight loss, Wegovy, utilize the same medication, semaglutide. These and other drugs in this family, which includes medications like tirzepatide and liraglutide, work by mimicking a hormone that’s naturally made by the body, GLP-1. One of the roles of GLP-1 is to slow the passage of food through the stomach, which helps people feel fuller longer.

If the stomach slows down too much, however, that can cause problems.
...
Then, instead of just vomiting the food she’d recently eaten, Wright noticed that she was throwing up food she’d eaten three or four days prior.

Another gastric emptying test showed her condition had deteriorated.

“Then the GI doctor said, ‘Well, I’ve been seeing a lot of clients coming in with full stomachs on endoscopy who are on Ozempic. So let’s try taking you off the Ozempic,’ ” Wright said.

Both Knight and Wright said they got some relief after coming off the medication, but their problems continued.

Now, Wright said, instead of throwing up a meal she ate several days ago, she mostly vomits food she has eaten recently.

Why would you even want to artificially slow down the passage of food through the stomach?! The speed of passage is what it is for a reason!

Why not simply space out your meals differently? You decide when and how much you eat; that is the only control you should need. Why even try to exert control at a different point in the sytem when you already have control at the usual one? That is equivalent to playing a video game and not using the joypad but instead trying to move the character by directly manipulating the circuit board!

But Western medicine doesn't care.....

...
They then vowed to 'embody cultural humility' and affirmed 'that patients are the experts of their bodies.'

Our enemies' latest complaint:

https://gatesofvienna.net/2022/10/whats-a-little-pain-when-youre-saving-the-planet/

Quote
Are people supposed to now do without anesthesia during surgery in order to save the climate?
...
if the invention of anesthesia was once considered a great medical achievement, since people no longer have to endure the pain of surgery while fully conscious, the broadcaster Arte now warns that anesthetic gases may damage the climate.
...
“Did you know that hospitals are real climate killers? Many pollutants enter the environment there unfiltered… This also applies to anesthetic gases, which are used in seven million operating rooms in Germany every year. The gases are potent greenhouse gases and are often discharged directly to the outside via the hospital roof. But many hospitals are now paying more attention to sustainability.”
...
So woe to those who need surgery: they pollute the climate and make tax increases necessary! One would think that the healthcare system would already have been sufficiently rundown, without the climate sect making calculations about the emissions from medical treatments.

In short, our enemies want to keep Western medicine going irrespective of the environmental damage it is causing.

We, in contrast, advocate looking for replacements to Western medicine. In the case of pain suppression for surgery:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2396469/

Quote
Acupuncture anesthesia has some benefits: (i) it is simple and easy without complicated tools, (ii) there are no side effects, (iii) non-painful areas are induced without the involvement of innervations of the areas stimulated by acupuncture, (iv) the anesthetic effects last after acupuncture anesthesia and (v) the wound heals more quickly.

Western anaesthetic equipment:

Non-Western anaesthetic equipment:

This is how inferior Western civilization is. (No prizes for guessing which is more environmentally friendly!)

Quote
There are some drawbacks, however: (i) anesthesia produced by acupuncture has individual variations and (ii) too much time is needed to induce anesthesia.

Doctors are supposed to view patients as individuals! Yes, this requires a level of sensitivity on the part of the doctors that is probably out of reach of most Westerners.

As for time, I would like to see a recalculation that takes into account the time required to manufacture the Western vs the non-Western equipment.

Quote
A man was told to take high-dose B vitamins after blood tests showed he was deficient. Then he lost his ability to walk.
...
Taylor said her father didn't have any symptoms of poor health, but his doctor prescribed a 50-milligram vitamin B6 supplement to up his levels. Vitamin B6, like other B vitamins, helps the body convert food into energy by breaking down carbs and protein. Research suggests it can help the body's immune system and certain brain functions.
...
Within months, he started losing the feeling in his legs, and eventually went to the hospital after he could no longer walk, Taylor told ABC Radio.

Also:

Quote
Preventative care experts say vitamin A supplements cause more harm than good, as taking too many can lead to bone pain and hair loss.

This is how stupid the Western model of nutrition ("vitamins" LOL) is.

While we're at it, let's look at some history:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin#History

Quote
In 1881, Russian medical doctor Nikolai I. Lunin [ru] studied the effects of scurvy at the University of Tartu. He fed mice an artificial mixture of all the separate constituents of milk known at that time, namely the proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and salts. The mice that received only the individual constituents died, while the mice fed by milk itself developed normally. He made a conclusion that "a natural food such as milk must therefore contain, besides these known principal ingredients, small quantities of unknown substances essential to life."

No, the mice died because you were experimenting on them, you Western scientist! If you had simply let the mice eat whatever they themselves wanted to eat, all of them would still be alive! And this does not require the mice themselves to have any abstract concept of "vitamins"! Therefore we do not need such a concept either! All we need are our tongues!

https://www.yahoo.com/news/aspirin-beta-blockers-linked-higher-182829236.html

Quote
Certain medications to protect your heart may backfire in very hot weather, increasing the risk of heart attack, suggests a study published August 1 in Nature Cardiovascular Research.

Certain Western medications, to be precise:

Quote
They compared cases to use of medications that typically protect heart health, including anti-platelets like aspirin that reduce heart attack risk, and beta blockers that treat high blood pressure.
...
They found that people taking beta-blockers or anti-platelet medications like aspirin were 63-65% more likely to have a heart attack on hot days, compared to more moderate temperature days. People who took both had a 75% higher risk. In contrast, people who weren't taking the medications did not have a higher risk of heart attack on hot days.

While the study found a link between the medications and higher risk, it doesn't directly show that the drugs themselves are to blame. One explanation may be that people who are taking those medications are already at higher risk of heart problems, according to the researchers.

However, the researchers found that young people, who generally had better heart health, were more at risk of heat-related heart attack than people in their 60s and 70s if they took the medications.

People under 60 years old were also three times as likely to have heat-related heart attacks if they took statins, medications to lower cholesterol.

The researchers hypothesized that the specific medications may make it more difficult for people to regulate their body temperature in warm weather, according to Kai Chen, first author of the study and assistant professor in the Department of Epidemiology (Environmental Health) at Yale.

People living in tropical habitats using Western medicine makes about as much sense as people living in tropical habitats wearing Western suits.

I would like to re-highlight what I was trying to explain some time ago:

Quote
"How does a child prevent getting rickets"

Sunlight.

"without dependency on Vit. D"

"Vitamin D" is just the model you choose to use to describe what is going on. The ancients were well aware that exposure to sunlight is healthy for children's bones without any notion of "Vitamin D" in their minds. This is what I am trying to get the world back to.

Now:

https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/man-hospital-overdosing-vitamin-d-toxicity-184442141.html

Quote
Man hospitalized after overdosing on vitamin D: What is vitamin D toxicity?
...
Vitamin D toxicity, also called hypervitaminosis D and vitamin D intoxication, is typically caused by ingesting too many vitamin D supplements, rather than by diet or sun exposure.

This condition will not happen through sun exposure because our bodies regulate the amount of vitamin D produced and absorbed by the sun.

I told you so. The Western model of nutrition is indeed medically inferior compared to ancient models.

Traditional Chinese medicine more effective for children’s respiratory infections than standard drugs: new study
...
In the report published in the journal Pediatric Investigation, a research team from China identified the formula Yupinfeng (YPF), which purportedly aids in treating kids suffering from RRTIs.

The study involved a randomized controlled trial (RCT) of 351 children with RRTIs divided into three groups. YPF was administered to the first group, conventional allopathic respiratory infection treatment pidotimod was given to the second, and a placebo was given to the third.
...
73% of children in the YPF group had their RRTIs return to normal standard while only 67% in the pidotimod group had the same improvement. Meanwhile, 39% of the placebo group returned to normal.
...
The study showed that YPF was not only superior to pidotimod in treating RRTIs but is also safe to use for children.
...
Renowned pulmonologist Dr. Julian Allen, who serves as director of the Asthma Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the associate editor of Pediatric Investigation, called the research an “excellent step toward addressing western skepticism.”

In an editorial piece for the journal, Allen further wrote: “Just because we don’t understand how a drug works, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work. This well-designed RCT could be an important step in addressing western skepticism surrounding TCM and reaping the benefits of its holistic effects.”
