“Putin imitates Hitler”: Expert warns of a major war

I don't think you need to be an expert to realize Putin is exactly like Hitler.
Quote
Yeah, nothing like Stalin, but like Hitler the guy that fought Stalin. Brilliant logic.
Quote
Anyone who knows historical events and recognizes patterns could have told you that, but he has no means to actually invade Europe like the Third Reich.

Putin is nothing like Stalin at all, he's like the guy that fought Stalin, Hitler. You must be an "expert" as well. Brilliant logic.

Alexandr Dugin, ideologist of Kremlin and Russian fascism: person who insists on killing Ukrainians
Quote
He is called the one who shaped Putin's views. Or, at least, influenced the ideology of the Kremlin. Alexandr Dugin is a co-founder of the 'Russian World' concept. He openly calls for the genocide of Ukrainians and considers the very existence of an independent Ukraine, and 'Russia's declaration of a geopolitical war.' His ideas are a synthesis of esotericism, far-right views and conspiracy theories. What is the 'Russian world' of Dugin - our correspondents understood.

I have hated dugin for a long time  = his brand of nazism (nazbol) is just 🤯🤯🤯🤯 I was glad when his daughter got it. I hope he gets it soon.

Indeed, it is an oxymoron to claim Nazism National Socialism while simultaneously being proud of Turanianism:

Quote
After many centuries and millennia, after Turan had originally been the territory of the Indo-Europeans, after the Indo-European peoples had passed their initiatives to other non-Indo-European peoples, such as the Altaic and partially the Uralic, the heritage of Turan once again returned to Russia. We, the Russian Indo-European people, are the keepers of this gigantic territory of Turan. The mission of the Indo-Europeans has made a full circle, starting with Indo-Europeans and ending with Indo-Europeans, in coming to us.

Note, if Russia was truly fascist then Muscovite's would also have been sent to fight in Ukraine: (not an endorsement of fascism either)

Quote
Meanwhile, pedestrian traffic around the square flowed smoothly and speedily. People went in and out of the Metro and a three-story H&M store. They did not stop and stare at the mute scenes of arrest. They did not seem to notice, and the not-noticing did not appear effortful. It seemed, rather, that the Muscovites going about their business and the young women being arrested inhabited different realities. The protesters lived in a world where Russia was waging a brutal, inexplicable war in Ukraine, where it was bombing residential neighborhoods in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city. The rest of the people in the square lived in a world where this war did not exist.

In true tribalistic fasion, the Kremlin sent the "other non-ethnic Russians" to fight in Ukraine, while ethnic Russians in Moscow got to go about their daily lives as if no war was even happening. This is not fascism!

Quote
Latvian journalist Bens Latkovskis of Neatkarīgā Rīta Avīze has criticized the equation of Russism to fascism as terminologically inaccurate, stating that the main difference between the two ideologies is one that actually places them on almost opposite sides of the political spectrum. He argues that, unlike fascism that sought to create a new anthropological order and required mass social involvement, Russism is counter-revolutionary, strictly opposed to any social reforms and social mobilization and aims at the depolitization of society, which it sees as a threat to its existence.[94]

Historian explains why it is wrong to compare Putin directly to Hitler | Jonathan Dimbleby
Quote
"Putin is a monstrous figure, he is not Hitler, he does not have a determination to eliminate people simply because they are a people," says historian Jonathan Dimbleby.

(Have not listened to this yet at time of posting here).

Putin is a Stalinist at heart, he is trying to rebuild the Soviet empire after-all, is he not? Hitler waged war against Stalin. It's literally this simple! Comparing Putin to Hitler instead of comparing Putin to Stalin is moronic at best! Some of the mental gymnastics many in the comments to this video attempt in order to avoid having to acknowledge this fact is disturbing, but not surprising!
