I myself agree with the point made here:

If filmmakers could make better casting choices, perhaps people would have a less negative image.

I can't really make of anything from the picture honestly. The average phenotypes seem more or less the same. Are you trying to make a point or are you asking for my opinion?

No matter how much richer/developed South India is compared to the North, "Savuthies" will always be seen as inferior to "Naarthies" because of perceived inferiority of the former's looks. Promoting mid phenotypes is not really helping much in this regard.

Are North Indians really just better looking? Perhaps (at least phenotypally) they seem more Aryan.

What is this Phenotype? And how are these mid-looking men superstars in the South?
Discuss.

The really good looking south Indians don't bother entering this filthy industry or never get a chance. The families that rule seem to have these phenotypes.

They gratify similar hordes of mid-looking men who project themselves onto these men's cinematic personalities where they stalk fair skinned "aryan" women and get them as a trophy wife at the end.

“Caste” has no association with vegetarianism. Vaishnavs come from many jaatis and are often vegetarians. Sikhs with no access to jhatka have turned vegetarian, and Jains are not Brahmins.

This is ill-disguised Hinduphobia parading as social justice through outright lies.

upper-caste vegetarians who dont want to share house with non-vegetarians and not rent to them are asking how vegetarianism is related to caste! It is related to caste because you have discriminated & excluded on the basis of food preference instead of respecting it.

Came across a post in which a guy is proudly claiming to have switched veg and non veg stickers on his office microwave.

Is the low-IQ guy even aware that people who have life threatening allergies to eggs or shell fish intentionally stick to vegetarian options in all public places due to possibility of contamination, which is why labelling is so important.

Someone spiteful like this could cost a life.

Finally, #Zomato has abandoned the idea of a green fleet for purely vegetarian food. All food will now be delivered by a crew in red uniforms. In a predominantly meat-eating nation like India, the whims and fancies of a minority of pure vegetarians cannot be imposed on everyone. Thank you, Deepinder Goyal. We ❤️ Zomato.

India consumes the lowest amount of meat per capita and has the highest number of civilized people (vegetarians) in the world.

Indian males are the least violent creatures on Earth after Asian males.

At PCGDP of $2845, Indian homicide rates are comparable to Europe & half of US.

What explains India's image is that women hate docile men. A woman is more likely to go out with a drug dealer than IT staff.

"This is another reason why I suppose I avoid restaurants that serve meat."

Vegans eating at meat-serving restaurants can cause them to add vegan items to their menu, thereby increasing the vegan presence on the menu, which I consider to be a success, especially in cases when the vegan items displace the non-vegan items. For example, one restaurant offers two soup-of-the-day options both of which were formerly non-vegan, but now a vegan soup holds one of the two spots, leaving only one non-vegan soup. Now even some non-vegans choose the vegan soup.

In general, we should want meat-serving restaurants to feel as though they need to compete with vegan restaurants by offering (more) vegan items. If you want to achieve this effect without eating at the meat-serving restaurant yourself, one thing you can still do is ask a meat-serving restaurant why they don't have [insert vegan option here] and then leave.

Its the brahminical idea that meat eaters are beneath the superior veg eaters. We see this in the way pure veg restaurants often pride themselves on having only brahmin cooks and so on. No one is forcing brahmins to eat meat just treat meat eaters with respect.

Leaving the caste angle aside, isn't it a good thing that you are economically supporting vegetarian cooks over meat eating cooks? This is another reason why I suppose I avoid restaurants that serve meat. Although the cooks themselves may not be vegetarian, I am economically supporting a business that produces vegetarian food. In contrast, I view meat serving restaurants in the same light as slaughterhouses/butcheries. A little extreme, perhaps, but it is what it is.

Also, regarding "brahminical idea that meat eaters are beneath the superior veg eaters", I would just post the "Yes Chad" meme. Yes, we do view meat eaters as inferior. Cope and seethe subhuman.

how was an untouchable like you allowed into a holy space like Arunachaleswarar Temple?

India is definitely bad in that regard - allowing beef-eating, unhygienic mlecchas like you inside our temples (let alone country).

America/ west is the reason vroo. Bollywood is ruining the Culture.

There is no such thing as Repressed emotion(or Shadow Self). I know more than Carl Jung Vrooo🤣😂🤣

This narrative of the alleged "Western" influence in Indian metropolitan cities, often set in contrast to the "tradishunal" rural areas needs to stop tbh. If anything,  pseudo moralistic traditionalism (Victorianism) should be called Western.

The narrative that "Meat-Eaters are barbaric, irrational and savages" has been a Brahmanical tool

So the victims of the meat-eaters do not consider the meat-eaters barbaric?
