But when (answer: never) is Xi going to attempt meaningful communication?

https://www.yahoo.com/news/xi-biden-knock-off-democracy-200004368.html

Quote
"Xi Jinping pointed out that freedom, democracy and human rights are humanity's common pursuit, and also the Chinese Communist Party's constant pursuit," the reports said. "The United States has American-style democracy. China has Chinese-style democracy."

Can Xi name a country that does not have a democracy by his definition? And if not, in other words if every government is automatically a "democracy", then why (we all know why.....) even use the word "democracy" and not simply "government"? This is why Xi's words will always be worthless.

As much as I support US-China friendship, Xi should be given zero credit for building such a friendship by future historians, who should instead speculate about how much faster and more easily US-China friendship could have been rebuilt in an alternate universe where Xi had never become leader. (Indeed, it was under Xi that the earlier phase of US-China friendship deteriorated to the poor condition it is now in.)

China says open to meeting with U.S. defence secretary
Quote
BEIJING, Nov 20 (Reuters) - China said on Sunday it is open to a meeting with the U.S. defence secretary on the sidelines of a regional security forum in Cambodia this week, in a sign of thawing relations after the countries' top leaders met earlier this month.

China Defence Minister Wei Fenghe and U.S. Secretary of Defense Austin Lloyd previously confirmed separately that they would attend the forum with Southeast Asian countries, the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting-Plus.

U.S. VP Harris met briefly with China's Xi at APEC
Quote
BANGKOK/SHANGHAI, Nov 19 (Reuters) - U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris on Saturday met briefly with Chinese President Xi Jinping, a White House official said.

"The Vice President noted a key message that President Biden emphasized in his November 14 meeting with President Xi: we must maintain open lines of communication to responsibly manage the competition between our countries," the official said.

Chinese state broadcaster CCTV confirmed the meeting later in the morning.

Mainstream academic gradually catching up to our vision:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/russia-divided-us-china-argues-125100076.html

Quote
Russia should be divided by US and China, argues political scientist
...
"In the conditions that exist today, China and the United States should divide Russia in the proportions of their greatness, power — in order to pacify it, to make it the largest pacifist state in the world," Davydiuk said.

According to the political expert, not only Ukraine, but the whole world will be safe if the regime of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin were to be destroyed.
...
“Because even the absence of Putin, but not changing the system leaves the system. The son of (Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai) Patrushev will be tougher than Putin and Patrushev – everyone understands this. And (former Russian President Dmitry) Medvedev, (Moscow Mayor Sergei) Sobyanin, or anyone else who comes in, will be pondering revenge.

Woke comments:

Quote
China would benefit greatly by acquiring some of Russia's carbon fuel assets and other natural resources.

Quote
russia has shown itself to be weak -the chinese should definitely talk the oil rich lands in the east. there would be no resistance.

Quote
China would benefit from invading Russia.  Can you picture Putin pleading for help from the West for help fighting China?

Quote
I mean China surely have lots of  lands stolen and pillaged by the Russians. The land that Vladivostok stood upon was once Chinese lands. And America surely wants a piece of the pie too and would likely take a big chunk of the Kamchatka Peninsula.

Quote
I wouldn't shed a tear if China decided Russian land and resources were worth more to them than Taiwan

What was obvious all along finally becomes official:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/u-judge-dismisses-indictment-against-211340283.html

Quote
U.S. judge dismisses indictment against Huawei CFO that strained U.S.-China relations
...
NEW YORK (Reuters) - A U.S. judge on Friday dismissed an indictment against Meng Wanzhou, the chief financial officer of Huawei Technologies Co, formally ending a criminal sanctions case that strained U.S.-China relations.

Meng, whose father Ren Zhengfei founded Huawei and is the telecommunications company's chief executive, entered an agreement with U.S. prosecutors last year for the case to be dismissed four years after her December 2018 arrest.

Prosecutors accused Meng of bank fraud and other crimes for misleading HSBC Holdings Plc and other banks about Huawei's relationship with a company that operated in Iran.

They said Meng's actions put banks at risk of penalties for processing transactions that violated U.S. sanctions.

Huawei has pleaded not guilty to related U.S. criminal charges.

U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly in Brooklyn dismissed Meng's indictment with prejudice, meaning it cannot be brought again.

This lady was KIDNAPPED. Not a single INTERNATIONAL law was violated. Not a single CANADIAN law was violated. In fact, Canada does not actually recognize those sanctions. So WHY WAS SHE EVEN ARRESTED? She should sue everyone involved. It would be an open and shut case...but it would have to take place in a NEUTRAL court.

Talkative and spontaneous, Jiang was not averse to political showmanship - on a trip to the US he decided to go for an unplanned morning swim on Waikiki Beach
...
Jiang was open to mending fences with the US after major diplomatic incidents, pledging support in the wake of 9/11 and making several trips to meet presidents Bill Clinton and George W Bush.

Former Singaporean diplomat Kishore Mahbubani recalled witnessing a meeting between Jiang and then US president Clinton at a summit in 1993.

"Both men were incredibly charming. And what was supposed to be a hot confrontation turned out to be a very warm encounter," he told the BBC. "

Both Jiang and his host, then-US president Bill Clinton, had faced many questions over deciding to meet on the sidelines of the inaugural Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation leaders’ forum.
...
Clinton later helped pave the way for Beijing’s accession to the WTO in 2001 and agreed to confirm the Chinese-inspired “three noes” policy on Taiwan, during a trip to Shanghai in 1998.

The three noes were that the US would not support Taiwanese independence; any solution that created “two Chinas” – or one China and one Taiwan; or Taiwan’s admission to international organisations, such as the United Nations.
...
“I think Jiang oversaw the best period in US-China ties, which laid the groundwork for his successors. But it’s premature to write about his legacy [as much of his efforts and accomplishments come under attack],” said Pang at Sichuan University.

The red line: Biden and Xi’s secret Ukraine talks revealed https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/the-red-line-biden-and-xis-secret-ukraine-talks-revealed/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1669590619-1

‘[…] since September a flurry of personal diplomacy by Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi with Nato and the US has led to a rare moment of public agreement over Russia, when Xi Jinping said that the world ‘needs to prevent a nuclear crisis on the Eurasian continent’ in a meeting with Joe Biden at the G20 summit in Bali.’

[…]

‘Yet in September, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Wang had told Nato Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg that China ‘stays open-minded to dialogues and exchanges with Nato and is willing to jointly promote the sound and steady development of bilateral relations … in the spirit of honesty and mutual respect’.’

And to carry on from the previous post:

‘Beijing was aware of Russia’s plans for a military operation, according to a source with longstanding close ties to the top levels of China’s political and military leadership. But the Russians presented the coming military operation as a ‘limited operation to recover a lost Russian province [and] reunite Russia within historical boundaries’. That narrative fitted China’s own over Taiwan.’

If Biden offered China support with Taiwan, like Clinton did, China would have no need to ally with Russia. A US-China alliance could bring Russia to its knees… if either leaders are willing.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/most-adults-america-china-view-100000430.html

Quote
In China, 66% of adults view the US as an enemy or unfriendly. Meanwhile, 64% of US adults said the same about China, though more Republicans (73%) held that view than Democrats (63%).

Enmity toward the US among Chinese adults has softened over the past six months, Morning Consult said in its summary of the findings, but "US views of China have hardened."
...
"Republican control of the House of Representatives after the midterms risks putting relations on a more antagonistic footing owing to Republicans' greater enmity toward China," Morning Consult said in its report on the data.

We need to make this a partisan issue. The instinctive Blue reaction to seeing Red Sinophobia should be to favour the opposite position, and to accuse Sinophobic Blues of siding with Reds. It should be easy to portray present-day Sinophobia as a continuation of the historical Yellow Peril narrative, which is in line with how Blues want to portray Reds in general (as paranoid bigots, which is what they are!). Why is this approach not more common?

Of course, China is also not doing what it can easily do to make this a partisan issue. The more genuinely hostile China becomes towards Russia, the more it will surely win over Blue opinion in the US. Unfortunately, there is still no indication that China understands that its only hope is Blue support. All outreaches by China towards the US to date have been if anything consciously anti-partisan and therefore bound to keep failing with both sides.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_Peril

Quote
In the late 19th century, the Russian sociologist Jacques Novikow coined the term in the essay "Le Péril Jaune" ("The Yellow Peril", 1897), which Kaiser Wilhelm II (r. 1888–1918) used to encourage the European empires to invade, conquer, and colonize China.[6]

How can anyone not see what is going on here?

Sometimes I get the feeling Jews do not want unity between the U.S. and China?  ;D (I think the devil Yahweh is attacking Kanye West via rightism and Judaism)!

Ye aka Kanye West Reveals His Diagnosis, Says Satan Is Attacking U.S. Via China
Quote
Sunday, December 11, 2022 - Ye (Kanye West) told X17 exclusively today -- during a full face masked interview -- that he is NOT bipolar and having an episode, but that he might be autistic. He goes on to explain that China is the real threat to the U.S. and that Satan is using the Chinese government to attack us. The designer extraordinaire met with some of his staff at the Cornerstone Christian Church, where he visited two weeks ago, to discuss the Donda Academy being housed at this facility, we're told. You can see a few students leaving the building.

WTF does Kanye West know about China, Hitler, or the U.S.? WTF does West even know about the devil?

Is West just a Jew shill at this point?:

EXCLUSIVE - Ye Says "We're God's iPhone," Talks Sustainable Housing And "Getting Past The Past"
Quote
Saturday, November 19, 2022 - Ye (formerly knowns as Kanye West) invited X17 inside his new Crenshaw design studio and explained concept drawings for sustainable and "safe" dome housing he plans to build in LA, Chicago, and Atlanta opportunity zones. Ye says humans are like "God's iPhone;" the we're his "favorite creation" and the "ultimate technology." He says we need to "focus on humanity" and "get past the past." The rapper/designer revealed to X17 exclusively that he will run for President in 2024!

How can we "get past the past" when the past is why the world is this effed up in the first place?

Regardless of whatever "mental disorder" diagnosis people wish to excuse West's western behavior with, firstly, and quite clearly, Kanye is a Jew through and through! West is just as insane as every other westerner and rightist! Just as stupid and lazy-brained as them too...

Thank you!

https://www.yahoo.com/news/rep-ayanna-pressley-opposes-committee-180914874.html

Quote
Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D, MA-7) said she voted against establishing a bipartisan committee that would examine and address the competition between the United States and China as it would “put lives at risk.”

Pressley, one of the 65-Democrat minority who voted against House Resolution 11 for the Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), made her comments in an interview with CNN’s Kaitlin Collins on Thursday, two days after it passed with a 365-65 vote.

“I voted no because, again, it’s another sham effort here, it’s really clear that this is just a committee that would further embolden anti-Asian rhetoric and hate and put lives at risk," Pressley, a member of the progressive group called “The Squad,” said.
...
While Rep. Jim McGovern (D, MA-2), the House Rules Committee's top Democrat, expressed concerns over the newly established committee, such as the potential rise in discrimination, he eventually voted “yes” after reading the resolution. A total of 146 Democrats supported the Republican-led committee.

65 vs 146..... With more Demographic Blueshift we should be able to flip the Blue stance on China eventually?

If only the message were "Cooperate With Anti-Colonialists" then America could easily maintain friendship with both China and Africa at the very same time. We know false-leftists such as Biden are incapable of such a message though unfortunately. All these old "white" false-leftist types have to lean on is there support for "democracy" because they're too lazy-brained to even be capable of imagining that just because it says "democracy" on the label it does not necessarily mean that the contents are 'good'. 75,000,000 people voted for Donald Trump in the last election FFS! It's hard to claim "anti-colonialism" when you allow westerners like Trump to come to power and subvert the U.S. further away from Americanism.

South Africa To Hold Joint Drills With Russia & China, US Says “Cooperate With Democracies”
Quote
South Africa has announced that it will hold 10-day joint maritime drills with Russia and China in February. The maritime exercise will take place from February 17 to 27, off the port city of Durban and Richards Bay. Over 350 South African army personnel will take part in the drills alongside their Russian and Chinese counterparts. The US, which has maintained a strategic partnership with South Africa for years, has expressed concern over the move. The drills also coincide with the first anniversary of Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine that started on February 24 last year. Is South Africa's "neutrality" fading away?

Eleven days old but worth the listen:

Zakaria calls out 'irrational' response by US to Chinese balloon

Comments:
Quote
I agree with him on: #1. His very last sentence "even a balloon creates partisan warfare these days." #2. We should have an adult [FAIR] relationship with China. #3. The war in Iraq, i know what he's saying here, refer to movie Shock And Awe 2017. (Falsely accused of harboring nuclear weapons.)
Quote
I think he nailed it.. the current politics made it impossible to ignore the balloon.
Quote
Now even Zakaria is talking about the damn balloon... 😀.. See what u did social media... 😳

I think the best point being is that we should already assume China has taken pictures of every square inch of the U.S. via military satellites. Lastly, knowing that a nation has functional nuclear capability is part of the nuclear deterrence scheme...

Reminder:

China lashes out at US withdrawal from open skies treaty
Quote
BEIJING (AP) — China on Monday lashed out at Washington over its withdrawal from the “Open Skies Treaty” with Russia, saying the move undermined military trust and transparency and imperiled future attempts at arms control.

The treaty, to which China is not a signatory, had allowed each country overflight rights to inspect military facilities.

That leaves only one arms-control pact still in force between the former Cold War foes, the New START treaty, which limits the number of nuclear warheads each may have. That treaty will expire in February and the Trump administration had said it wasn’t interested in extending it unless China also joined, something Beijing says it will not do...
