ICE Wants to Deport Pelosi Attack Suspect to Canada. D.A. Brooke Jenkins Says S.F. Won’t Turn Him Over

Officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security want to deport the man accused of bludgeoning U.S. Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband with a hammer, but District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said Thursday that she will refuse to turn him over, citing San Francisco’s sanctuary city policies.

“San Francisco is a sanctuary city and our policy is sacred,” Jenkins said in a statement, hours after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement publicly disclosed the hold on DePape, 42, who was arrested and accused of a home invasion, assault and bizarre kidnapping plot.

If local law enforcement were to comply with the ICE hold, they would turn DePape over to the federal agency to possibly be shipped back to Canada after his criminal cases wrap up in San Francisco. But Jenkins was adamant that won’t happen.

“We will not be collaborating or coordinating with ICE,” the district attorney maintained.

Coming off an incredible victory in the 2022 Florida gubernatorial race, it’s vital to point out the difference in DeSantis’ razor thin 2018 victory and his dominating performance this year: the white vote.

In 2018, whites represented 66 percent of the electorate in Florida. DeSantis received:

    DeSantis received 60% of the white vote
    DeSantis received 69% of the white male vote
    DeSantis received 51% of the white female vote

In 2022, where DeSantis beat his Democrat opponent 59%-40%, the importance of winning the white vote and its correlation to this landslide victory couldn’t be clearer. Whites represent 64% of the electorate in 2022:

    DeSantis received 65% of the white vote
    DeSantis received 72% of the white male vote
    DeSantis received 58% of the white female vote

It’s not hard, folks.

In a white majority state and nation, increase the white share of the vote, and win an election by a landslide (instead of barely beating a closeted homosexual black degenerate the media had anointed as Presidential stock).

We call it the Sailer Strategy. Simply put: It’s how to save the Historic American Nation, and it’s the reason DeSantis dominated in 2022.

Asian American voters in Georgia showed strong Democratic leanings in the recent Senate runoff election, according to an exit poll.

An Election Day poll released by the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund on Wednesday showed that 78% of Asian American voters supported Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock, who won, while about 22% favored Republican opponent Herschel Walker.

Those ages 18 to 29 voted for Warnock at 92% and Walker at about 7%.

    The House passed a bill to allow Puerto Rico voters to choose independence, statehood, or free association.

    Only 16 Republicans joined all Democrats in supporting the bill.

    Republicans opposed the bill in part due to long-standing opposition to Puerto Rico's statehood.

Despite House passage, the bill is unlikely to pass the Senate, where it would need at least 10 Republican supporters.

Bet these Republicans would have voted differently if it was a "white island".

The conservatives love to go to Puerto Rico and have fun at the expense of the people of Puerto Rico but since the Puerto Rican people aren't white, no bueno for statehood.

Delia Ramirez walks toward the microphone determined to make her message heard. “It is time—it is past time that we deliver on the promise that we have made to our Dreamers,” she says.

On a crisp morning in early December, Ramirez is standing steps away from the US Capitol, with its white dome gleaming against the blue sky behind her. This is a rallying cry we’ve heard here time and again—but Ramirez hopes when she says it, the words will carry even more weight. This isn’t merely a talking point from her campaign platform.  “This,” the Illinois lawmaker says, “is very personal for me.”

It’s personal because if Congress doesn’t act, Ramirez’s husband could be among hundreds of thousands of people facing possible deportation. And it’s personal because Ramirez herself is about to become a member of Congress.

    She’s called this news conference, flanked by several of her fellow incoming freshmen lawmakers and Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Pramila Jayapal, a Washington state Democrat, to push for members of Congress to pass several key pieces of legislation while Democrats still control the US House. Among them: the DREAM Act, which would give a possible pathway to citizenship to some 2 million undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as children.

    “I am the wife of a DACA recipient. I am the daughter of Guatemalan working immigrants. I know firsthand the challenges and constant fear our families live every single day,” Ramirez tells reporters. “We have to end this.”

    That’s far easier said than done, as decades of debate over immigration reform on Capitol Hill clearly show. But Ramirez says no matter how many obstacles pop up in her path, she’ll keep pushing.

    As constant and controversial as conversations around immigration in Washington have become, many lawmakers weighing in don’t have direct personal connections to the issues they’re debating. Ramirez, 39, has lived them her entire life.

    “I am clear that anyone willing to risk dying, starving or even being **** in the long journey through desert, cold and tunnels is crossing because they feel like there is no other solution to their situation. Their migration is the only way they see themselves and loved ones surviving deep poverty and, in some cases, persecution,” Ramirez says.

    “I’m going to be fighting to keep my husband here,” she says, “and I’m a member of Congress. …. What happens to the other 2 million (undocumented immigrants that the DREAM Act would protect)? What happens to his brother? What happens to my best friend from high school? What happens to all of them who have no pathway, who don’t have a citizen husband or wife or partner?”
