Quote
China holds a substantial lead over the EU concerning perceptions about decision-making and timely completion of projects in Africa, according to a survey about the activities of Europe and China on the continent.
...
China scores much higher than the EU on what the survey respondents consider Africa's priority needs - physical infrastructure, speedy results and non-interference in internal political affairs.
...
"To put it simply: A road completed in record time by the Chinese is a value in the perception of Africans and more concrete than abstract European projects to promote democracy, human rights or sustainability," Schott said.

China has been accused of putting developing countries into "debt traps" by offering unsustainable loans for BRI projects, which can then be leveraged for political influence or concessions of geostrategic value to China. This contention has, however, been sharply disputed.

Last week, China's foreign ministry said, "the so-called 'Chinese debt trap' is pure disinformation and a narrative trap created by those who do not hope to see China-Africa cooperation pick up speed".

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/china-sends-food-aid-drought-093000921.html

Quote
Wu Peng, director general of the Chinese foreign ministry's African affairs department, on Wednesday said Beijing was speeding up efforts to provide emergency aid to help Horn of Africa countries deal with the severe drought.
...
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi promised emergency food aid to Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Djibouti early this year. On Wednesday, Wu said the first shipments were on the way. "Glad to know that the first batch of food aid to Ethiopia and Djibouti has been shipped out and those to Somalia and Eritrea are ready for shipment," he tweeted.
...
Nazanine Moshiri, International Crisis Group's senior analyst for climate and security in Africa, said the situation in the Horn of Africa was dire.

"More than 18 million people are suffering extreme hunger in Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya. In Somalia, more than 200,000 people are facing famine. At least a thousand children have died - those are the cases we know about - millions more are severely malnourished," Moshiri said.

Relying on food aid is not a long-term solution. The only true solution is to emigrate to the EU!

https://trueleft.createaforum.com/issues/climate-refugees/

Food aid is good to the extent that it keeps more people alive long enough to emigrate. It is bad to the extent that it reduces their incentive to emigrate. But the latter is the fault of the locals, not of those supplying food aid.

Quote
Zhao said that as a developing country, China had no obligation to provide official development assistance. However, he said China "has been actively participating in international development cooperation, providing development resources to UN development agencies, including food and agriculture agencies, and making positive contributions to global food security".

"China has provided more funding, sent more experts and undertaken more projects under the framework of the Food and Agriculture Organization's South-South Cooperation Programme than any other developing country," Zhao added.

Thank you, China! (And reminder: Russia is not part of the Global South.)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China%E2%80%93Ethiopia_relations#History

Quote
Ethiopian expert Richard Pankhurst is certain that by the Tang dynasty (618–907) "the Chinese were acquainted with at least part of the Horn of Africa and were trading indirectly if not directly with the Somali coast."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China%E2%80%93Somalia_relations#History

Quote
Relations between Somalia and China long predate the Middle Ages. Through trade, the peoples of both areas established good relations. Giraffes, zebras and incense were exported to the Ming Empire of China, which established Somali merchants as leaders in the commerce between Asia and Africa,[3] and in the process influenced the Chinese language with the Somali language and vice versa.

Now is the time to revive the friendships between the ancient civilizations:

Again, note that Russia is not even on the map! In fact, Russia didn't even exist back then! This is what we need to get back to.

The mainland Chinese people still good with their socialist doctrine rather than the diaspora "Westerner Chinese" people who remain Westernized. So, the Chinese so-called "debt-trap" merely the Western propaganda to cover up their losses of power. And the tragedy of what happen on Congolese people which commited by the Chinese worker are not part the official doctrine of Autocratic China and just the worker's lack of disciplinal competence

Quote
(Bloomberg) -- The Solomon Islands government threatened to ban “disrespectful and demeaning” journalists from entering in response to an Australian documentary that alleged widespread Beijing influence in the Pacific country.

A spokesperson for Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare accused the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) of promoting “racism and racial stereotyping” in a lengthy statement published Wednesday, and warned the government would “ensure that racial practices are eliminated from the Solomon Islands.”

“Such organizations or journalist who possess such qualities will not be allowed to enter Solomon Islands and other Pacific Islands nations,” Sogavare’s spokesperson said in the statement.

Maybe the hatreds of my people towards China because of Western anti-China propaganda which oftenly spread around TV news. It was did for cover up their foreign policy of trapping the "non-Western underdeveloped" nations with their economic debt trap assisted with IMF (International Monetary Fund) organization

Signal To Russia? Xi Jinping Talks Kazakh Sovereignty, Opposes "Interference" Before Meeting Putin
Quote
Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Kazakhstan for a state visit on September 14, his first known trip abroad since 2020. Xi was welcomed by his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev upon his arrival in Nur-Sultan. Beijing's firm statement of intent came just before Xi met Russian President Putin on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Uzbekistan. On the other hand, Kazakhstan sees Xi’s first abroad trip to their country as a great signal of security in Central Asia.

We are not alone after all!

https://southfront.org/chinese-anti-russian-activists-work-against-beijings-interests/

Quote
Sino-Russian bilateral cooperation appears to increase as the West tries to “isolate” Russia with its coercive measures.

However, some dissident forces in China want to change this scenario. Chinese officials, politicians and businessmen have been demanding changes in Beijing’s stance, urging the country to adopt sanctions against Russia and condemn the special military operation in Ukraine.
...
Among academics, experts and journalists, anti-Russian engagement is also growing in China. Some authors in the country hold skeptical views about Sino-Russian cooperation and believe that Beijing should move away from Moscow in order to avoid being sanctioned by the West. This is the case, for example, of Hu Wei, vice-chairman of the Public Policy Research Center of the Counselor’s Office of the State Council, who recently published the article “Russian-Ukrainian War and China’s Choice”

The following video speculates in particular:

Quote
"To cross the nuclear threshold, even with a small nuclear weapon, I think would turn even China against President Putin and Russia."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORpqeFqGqDU

So let's hope Russia uses a nuke soon!

China Signs Major Railroad Deal With Uzbekistan And Kyrgyzstan, Bypassing Russia

The three governments signed the agreement on September 14 on the sidelines of a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Uzbekistan.

The cost estimate is conservative compared to previous estimates of double that for a railroad that will pass through challenging mountainous terrain requiring a series of tunnels – reportedly 90 of them – to be built.

China will also need to build 160 kilometers of track to feed into the new line, according to The Economist.

Singapore, the Enemy of Islam

While "Australia" try to democratize and westernize the "Pacific" peoples and the Papuans. A nation which controlled by Eurocentrist Chinese people still help and work together with them. See this information from Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs :

Quote
Singapore and Australia share longstanding and multifaceted relations. Australia was among the first countries to recognise our independence.

...

Singapore and Australia enjoy close defence ties, founded on substantive interactions and common perspectives on many issues. The Singapore Armed Forces trains in Australia, both unilaterally and bilaterally with the Australian Defence Force. In March 2020, Singapore and Australia signed the Treaty on Military Training and Training Area Development, a key deliverable of the CSP.  Building on 30 years of Singapore’s training in Australia, the Treaty underpins the A$2.25 billion investment to jointly develop military training areas, as well as advanced training facilities in Central and North Queensland, which will benefit both armed forces and deepen defence cooperation. Singapore and Australia also cooperate closely in multilateral forums such as the Five Power Defence Arrangements and the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus.

2020

...

...the Leaders witnessed the signing of the Treaty on Military Training and Training Area Development and seven MOUs under the ambit of the Digital Economy Agreement.[/b]

Singapore also more close to the "New Zealand" rather than, the Papua New Guinea for example :

Quote
Defence is also a key pillar of bilateral relations. In addition to being members of the Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA), Singapore’s and New Zealand’s armed forces conduct regular bilateral training. Singapore’s and New Zealand’s troops have partnered each other in missions in Afghanistan and Iraq. New Zealand also hosts the Singapore Armed Forces for unilateral military training in New Zealand, and both countries work well together at multilateral security fora.

Even Singapore more hostile to the muslims rather than to the westerners. See this information :

Somad said Singaporean authorities didn’t provide any specific reason why he was refused entry.

You should try to promote hostility towards Australia among Singaporeans. Remind them of Singaporean history as a fellow victim of Western colonization!

We have documented some positive recent developments in Singapore:

https://trueleft.createaforum.com/issues/legal-decolonization/msg15255/#msg15255

Singapore retains significant non-Western roots which can be worked with, as was done in fantasy fiction during the Counterculture era which was of very high quality:

Today, even they benefitted economically from cooperation with the "United States" too. 1.000+ companies from her are on Singapore. Therefore hardly Singapore to be more close to the victim of western colonialism. Because it not benefit them economically. Singapore need things more on economy, seeing their lack of resources and sources of revenue on their homeland. What about that?

Our entire geopolitical strategy is based on changing the US to view itself as a victim of Western colonization:

US links to Singapore will become our assets provided we succeed in this.

What about if we use the win-win solution to beat the westerners. It proven work until now. See this information :

"...I think the focus of ASEAN nation now is trying to make people at the front of its economic growth. Which is I think for now China wins in this case, right? You see how the U.S. for example, they're trying to assert more cooperation socially and in development sector but still unclear. So ASEAN nation in this case are closer on China on this side." - Noto Sueneto, G20 Foreign Policy Analyst and Senior Manager of The Business 20 Indonesia

"...I think is it true that ASEAN is more skewed toward China? Is it true that ASEAN or Malaysia is more friendlier to China compared to United States? I think yes. It is true because of a win-win situation offered by China. Like the example of BRI, the Belt Road Initiative for example. It's not only China will gain the benefit but also Malaysia gains a lot of benefit from BRI. So another thing is that mutual trust is very-very critical, you know very important here. And also a win-win situation. ... ASEAN and Malaysia included Indonesia, included Thailand in this case are more skewed, more friendlier towards China in this case" - Azmi Hassan, Malaysian Political Analyst

This vision of China involves the integration of the ASEAN states into the program by creating projects that would connect the maritime states with the mainland, bypassing the treacherous Straits of Malacca route with state-of-the-art transportation infrastructures that could sustain the expected volume of trade. And while the BRI alone has seen a massive invesment drive, the Chinese invesments have been in the region for quite some time already. These developments have in the past years have given vast aid and helped change economic outlooks for the region, and even still it has the potential to further upgrade the outlook of the continent.
