I see there are millions of Hindus love Macron/France - so next time France decide to bomb another country or invade and steal their resources - India will be a good place and you will not get any terrorist. Learn your lessons.

Action must follow words:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/muslims-call-french-goods-boycott-151205152.html

Quote
Muslims in the Middle East and beyond on Monday broadened their calls for boycotts of French products and protests, as a clash over depictions of the Prophet Muhammad and the limits of free speech intensified.
...
On Monday, hashtags in Arabic on Twitter calling for French boycotts were trending high. Qatar University postponed its French cultural week indefinitely, saying its administration views insults to Islam and its symbols as unacceptable.

In Kuwait, a number of stores had removed French products like Kiri cheese, Perrier sparkling water and Activia yogurt from their shelves.

The owner of Carrefour stores in the Middle East issued a statement saying the brand is a fully owned and operated business of the United Arab Emirates-based Majid Al Futtaim. The company said it understands there is some concern among consumers across the region but noted that it employs 37,000 people and is “proud to be from the region and for the region.”

Others on Twitter criticized what they said is France’s hypocrisy and bias against Muslims. One cartoon widely shared put forth the argument that caricatures of Muslims are defended in “The West” as fair game under freedom of speech protections, while caricatures of Jews are labeled hate speech.

In France, a law aimed at addressing the country's role during Nazi occupation specifically mentions that anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial are crimes

...
Already, a small rally was held Monday in the Gaza Strip outside the French cultural center with people carrying banners showing photos of Maron with an “X” over his face. They held banners that read: “Despite Macron’s malice, we prevail for our Prophet”.

In Pakistan, the leader of a radical Islamic party called on people to hold a rally against France on Friday in the eastern city of Lahore to mark the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, which is traditionally a time of celebration.

Meanwhile, groups ranging from the Taliban in Afghanistan to Hezbollah in Lebanon have condemned Macron’s defense of caricatures depicting the Prophet Muhammad.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/pakistan-summons-french-envoy-voice-122919796.html

Quote
Turkish leader Tayyip Erdogan asked his compatriots to stop buying French goods on Monday in the latest expression of anger in the Muslim world over images being displayed in France of the Prophet Mohammad, which some Muslims consider blasphemous.

In Bangladesh on Monday, protesters unfurled placards with a caricature of French President Emmanuel Macron and the words: "Macron is the enemy of peace", while Pakistan summoned France's ambassador in Islamabad to issue a protest.

Erdogan, who has a history of fraught relations with Macron, said France was pursuing an anti-Islam agenda.

"I am calling to all my citizens from here to never help French brands or buy them," Erdogan said.

In Turkey, French autos are among the highest selling cars, and French-Turkish bilateral trade overall was worth nearly $15 billion last year. The Turkish president has made similar boycott calls in the past, including an appeal not to buy U.S. electronic goods in 2018 which was not followed through.

Erdogan on Monday joined a chorus of voices elsewhere calling for a boycott. In Kuwait city, a supermarket had stripped its shelves of L'Oreal cosmetics and skincare products after the cooperative union to which it belongs decided to stop stocking French goods.

BOYCOTT FRANCE!

It is important that non-Muslim former victims of Western colonialism (especially former victims of French colonialism) join in this boycott. All former victims of Western colonialism must stand together against Western civilization!

I read that Macron would be better than Le Pen. What's your opinion now?

Unchanged. Le Pen has criticized Macron for still not being Islamophobic enough despite Macron's recent insane Islamophobia.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Luc_M%C3%A9lenchon

Have not read his entire wiki page yet but just skimming through it this stuck out to me, interesting:
Quote
Mélenchon has himself his vision of populism, which he sees as positive if it comes with a left ideology. He is inspired by the philosopher Chantal Mouffe, who sought to theorise and rehabilitate the term "left populism". This theory argues that neoliberalism and austerity only made the far-right stronger and that the word "people" has to be reintroduced into the political sphere in a civic sense rather than an ethnic way (creating a "right populism" to fight).

I'm impressed by this. We need more leftists such as the type Melenchon is advocating for in the above sentences.

Mélenchon has voiced his support for Rattachism.

"Would it be better if Jean-Luc Mélenchon won?"

Not really:

Quote
Following the killing of major general Qasem Soleimani, Mélenchon tweeted: "We must equally condemn the USA and Iran as warmongers. My condemnation of the USA does not exempt Iran from the fact that it is a theocracy that wants to destroy the State of Israel."[70] On French news channel LCI, he declared: "the current government of Iran claims it wants to destroy the State of Israel. This is an intolerable project which in itself creates incredible tension in the region, and obviously favors extremes on either side."[71]

https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20201029-malaysian-ex-pm-mahathir-says-muslims-have-right-to-kill-french

Quote
"The French in the course of their history has killed millions of people. Many were Muslims. Muslims have a right to be angry and to kill millions of French people for the massacres of the past."

Mahathir, who served as Malaysian premier twice for a total of 24 years, said that French President Emmanuel Macron was "not showing that he is civilised", adding he was "very primitive".

"The French should teach their people to respect other people's feelings. Since you have blamed all Muslims and the Muslims' religion for what was done by one angry person, the Muslims have a right to punish the French.

"The boycott cannot compensate the wrongs committed by the French all these years."

To elaborate, France is still using the same flag as it used during the colonial era:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_colonial_flags

and still keeping in its museums the stuff it stole during the colonial era. How then can the French expect to be seen by default as anything other than people proud of their colonial past, and treated accordingly? If France wants change, it should start by changing its flag:

https://trueleft.createaforum.com/issues/flag-decolonization/

and returning all stolen property:

Very informative and a elogquent speaker.

I remember this talk by this lady who said this: Chinese company vs Western company in Africa. Chinese engineers stayed in almost quarter like bunks and only return to China every 3~6 months. The western engineers stayed in 5 star hotels and return home every month with first or business class flights and all kinds of perks'. Damn, now I know why the Chinese are cheaper and why the west is so pissed with China!

Good work:

France was stung into launching a charm offensive to quell anti-French sentiment in some Muslim countries after receiving tens of thousands of messages of indignation from moderate believers on a government website, say reports.

The French foreign ministry was said to be taken aback by the scale of accusations of “colonial arrogance” on its Arabic Facebook page from around 50,000 people from various countries. Usually, the site receives a few dozen likes or comments.

Well, all things considered and not advocating for increased reproduction of humans here, but at-least 25% of the world's population is Muslim! We can thank God for that much!  ;D
