As the video explains, the job of police is basically to go into a neighbourhood they themselves do not live in and terrorize the people who do live there. No wonder IDF training is so useful for them!

GENEVA (Reuters) - Nearly half of all the violence visited on African migrants during their journey to the Mediterranean coast is perpetrated by law enforcers, the United Nations refugee agency UNHCR said on Wednesday.

According to a report by UNHCR and the Danish Refugee Council's Mixed Migration Centre (MMC), thousands of refugees and migrants suffer extreme abuse including torture and sexual or gender-based violence, and in some cases death.

The report is based on nearly 16,000 interviews with refugees and migrants.

"In 47% of the cases, the victims reported the perpetrators of violence are law enforcement authorities, whereas in the past, we believe that it was mainly smugglers and traffickers," Vincent Cochetel, UNHCR special envoy for the central Mediterranean, told a news conference in Geneva.

I had already said years ago that smugglers were mostly safe. This is deducible from basic economics. Smugglers earn money from refugees, and compete against other smugglers, therefore it is in their own profit interest to offer a better service to refugees than their competitors. Violent smugglers would quickly have their reputation ruined and refugees would give their custom to other smugglers instead.

Traffickers are less safe as their victims are not being transported willingly, but at least their victims need to stay alive in order to be worth money after arrival.

Border troops* are the only ones with an actual incentive to want refugees to die. This is why they even destroy food and water left outdoors for refugees when they come across any. Therefore it should not be surprising that they are behind most of the violence.

(* I refuse to call them "law enforcement" since so-called "laws" prohibiting immigration are not laws at all, as previously explained. Genuine laws protect the same people who abide by them. So-called "laws" prohibiting immigration leave those who abide by them outside the domain of protection.)

Months of peaceful protests have not changed police attitudes in the slightest, which is pretty much what I predicted. Firearms are needed to bring change.

Americans' confidence in police falls to historic low, Gallup poll shows

Americans' confidence in the police fell to the lowest level recorded by Gallup in the nearly 30 years it has been tracking such data, driven in part by a growing racial divide on the issue.

About 48% of Americans said they have a "great deal" or "quite a lot" of confidence in police, down from 53% the previous year and an all-time high of 64% in 2004, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday.

The poll was done in the weeks after George Floyd was killed by a white Minneapolis police officer sparking a protest movement against police brutality and systemic racism across the country. Gallup began tracking the question in 1993, the year after the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles.

"Pretty much since the beginning we’ve always seen a gap in confidence in police between Black and white Americans," said Jeff Jones, Gallup senior editor.

The racial divide on the question, which has been growing for years, reached its largest point in 2020: 56% of white adults say they have “a great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in the police, while just 19% of Black adults say the same.

Considering Americans are giving up their US citizenship at record pace I think it's safe to say many American's confidence in the U.S. on most issues is at a historic low. Do these rightists ever stop to consider what happens to a nation state when the entire population becomes completely demoralized? Of course not. This is how you know most rightists and false-leftists should never have been considered statesmen to begin with, much less ever having been allowed any where near a government position.

Dashcam footage released by the sheriff’s department showed what happened next. Two white officers rush toward Young’s Volvo. One pulls open the door and shouts, “Exit the vehicle or you’re going to jail.” Both officers then lunge into the car. There’s a brief struggle and one officer steps back to point his weapon at Young’s head.

As the criticism mounted, White dug in. He posted an article from the far-right website Breitbart News decrying “those smearing every police officer,” and another item about recent crime in Chicago, saying there was too little focus on “Black-on-Black” crime.

Why was the victim unarmed in times like these?

And what about the guy recording the video? If you can record a video, you have a clear line of sight, which means you can shoot back at the shooter.

And again, what good is the NFAC with all their firearms which are never actually used?
