Quote
Explosions across Ukraine as Russian blitz cities in Putin's full-scale invasion.

VLADIMIR Putin has declared WAR on Ukraine and unleashed his terrifying arsenal with a full scale assault on the country - plunging Europe into a bloody new crisis.

The tyrant declared a “special military operation” in Ukraine with a dawn raid after months of amassing his forces on the border and brazenly lying to the world about his plans to invade.

The world is waking up to what could the most horrific crisis since World War 2 as Putin seeks to tear down the world order.

His full scale invasion of Ukraine is all part of his deluded plan to rebuild the Soviet Union amid his paranoid fears over Nato.

Ukrainians faced the sound of booming explosions and blaring air raid sirens as missiles, airstrikes and artillery shells fell on their homeland.

Putin took to Russian airwaves at 5.50am Moscow time to order an aerial blitz in the first stage of his attack.

Moments later powerful explosions were reported and armoured columns were spotted moving towards the border.

Russia has some 200,000 soldiers ready to move in - encircling the north, south and east of Ukraine.

Hundreds are already feared to have been killed or wounded in a conflict that could kill tens of thousands and displace millions.

Putin’s troops raise Russian flag in Ukraine as ‘Z’ tanks lead second wave ground invasion
Quote
RUSSIAN troops have been spotted raising their flag in Ukraine as the second wave of Vladimir Putin's invasion.

Ground forces have been streaming across the border into the former Soviet state from all sides after the aerial blitz in the early hours.

Tanks, trucks, howitzers and other armoured vehicles - some marked with the distinctive "Z" - have been seen rolling in from Crimea.

Other vehicles crossed the border from Belarus, with these marked with an "O".

The "Z" symbol became a distinctive image of invasion, as it's believed to be an invasion organisation marking or to stop friendly fire.

And atop a power plant in Kharkiv, southern Ukraine, a group of soldiers raised the distinctive red, white and blue striped flag of Russia.

Putin had surrounded his western neighbour with some 200,000 troops along with all kinds of weapons.

Fighting is raging through the country as Ukraine attempts to mount a resistance to the assault.

Did Putin record his chilling threat to NUKE the west three days ago - proving he had no intention for peace?

Russian President Vladimir Putin  appeared today in the same outfit as he wore on Monday as he announced his invasion of Ukraine - sparking concerns he had already taken the decision to unleash war at the beginning of the week.
...
In hindsight, Putin's attempts to rewrite history at his convenience, could be interpreted as evidence that he had already decided to invade Ukraine, and that he misled leaders in the West who pleaded with him for diplomacy.

This is why I keep saying that to ever even try to communicate verbally with Turanians is to set yourself up to be screwed over by them. To trust that they ever want a sincere discussion about anything is to be a sucker. When they talk, they are just playing for time. They do not care and will never care about what we have to say; they only care that we are being successfully manipulated into wasting our time saying it, because whatever time we spend talking to them is time not spent on preparing to destroy them.

Quote
The United Nations Security Council had just convened an emergency meeting Wednesday night when Putin took to Russian airwaves to announce the invasion at 5:50am Moscow time.

Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, had urged Putin to stop his tanks.

'If indeed an operation is being prepared, I have only one thing to say from the bottom of my heart,' said Guterres.

'President Putin, stop your troops from attacking Ukraine. Give peace a chance. Too many people have already died.'

Putin ignored the plea

Nicaragua's Ortega defends Russia's stance over Ukraine
Quote
MANAGUA, Feb 21 (Reuters) - Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega became one of the first world leaders to back Russia's stance over Ukraine on Monday, saying President Vladimir Putin was right to recognise two regions controlled by Moscow-backed separatists as independent.

The former Marxist guerrilla, who has led Nicaragua since 2007 after having first come to power in 1979, defended Putin's move to recognize the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk during a speech in Managua. read more

"I am sure that if they do a referendum like the one carried out in Crimea, people will vote to annex the territories to Russia," said Ortega, a long-time opponent of U.S. influence in Central America.

Ortega also said Ukraine's attempt to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) represented a threat to Russia.

“If Ukraine gets into NATO they will be saying to Russia let's go to war, and that explains why Russia is acting like this. Russia is simply defending itself."

Zelenskiy Remains in Kyiv Amid Russian Attacks: 'All of Us Are Here'
Quote
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday said he remained in Kyiv, even as Russia pounded the capital and other cities with airstrikes for a second day.

Russian troops bore down on Ukraine’s capital Friday, with gunfire and explosions resonating ever closer to the government quarter, in an invasion of a democratic country  that has fueled fears of wider war in Europe and triggered worldwide efforts to make Russia stop.

With reports of hundreds of casualties - including shelling that sliced through a Kyiv apartment building and pummeled bridges and schools - there also were growing signs that Vladimir Putin’s Russia may be seeking to overthrow Ukraine’s government.

It would be his boldest effort yet to redraw the world map and revive Moscow’s Cold War-era influence.

In the fog of war, it was unclear how much of Ukraine remains under Ukrainian control and how much or little Russian forces have seized.

The Kremlin accepted Kyiv's offer to hold talks, but it appeared to be an effort to squeeze concessions out of Ukraine's embattled president instead of a gesture toward a diplomatic solution.

Zelenskiy Urges Russia to Hold Talks to End Fighting in Ukraine
Quote
The prospect of talks between Russia and Ukraine was cast into doubt as the Kremlin said Kyiv had stopped responding after rejecting Moscow’s initial offer of a meeting in Minsk, the capital of Belarus.

Ukraine wanted a meeting instead in the Polish capital, Warsaw, the Kremlin said, adding it had heard nothing further. There was no immediate word from Ukraine on the Russian comments.

The diplomatic to and fro comes as fighting continues on the ground with Russian forces moving toward the capital.

Any talks would likely struggle to find common ground on the question of “neutrality” for Ukraine, which has sought to join NATO and draw closer to Europe. Russia has also accused Kyiv of wanting to forcibly retake two breakaway areas in Ukraine’s east, something the government has repeatedly denied.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/why-putin-didn-t-flinch-164653122.html

Quote
Why Putin didn’t flinch in the face of an onslaught of financial sanctions

Sanctions against Russia may not achieve their aim of forcing Vladimir Putin back to the negotiating table if his forces succeed in achieving their military objective before the country feels the economic pain.

Russia may be enfeebled by years of dependence on commodity exports, yet the Kremlin has fattened itself on the proceeds of last year’s inflationary boom in energy prices. That means it’s now in a prime position to weather reprisals designed to sap his fiscal ability to wage war.
...
Russia continued last year to decouple itself financially from the global reserve currency system by accumulating more gold in its central bank vaults than it holds in U.S. dollars. According to the World Gold Council, stores of nearly 2,300 metric tons at the end of November are the fifth largest in the world after the U.S., Germany, Italy, and France.

Moreover, what are sanctions compared to the long-term economic gain from acquiring Ukrainian resources?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHJO8IAHydo

Putin surely calculated all of this in detail prior to his invasion, which is why NATO merely proceeding along the pre-calculated path could never faze Putin. The only way to stop Putin is to do something genuinely outside his wildest expectations. Of course, this would require courage.

Vitaly Skakun is hailed as a hero after sacrificing his life to blow up the Henichesky Bridge.

The bridge was mined but a Russian column was advancing and there was no time to detonate it remotely.

Skakun radioed his unit and told them he would do it manually, saying goodbye.

What do you think Dazhbog? Is this the hallmark of truly anti-Russian Ukranian nationalist warrior? Or merely a crypto-identitarian who "opposes" Russia only insofar as they are not "pro-White" enough? I think a person from the latter category would simply not have it in them to risk their life in order to destroy the enemy, as all it would take for them to become pro-Russian is for them to (correctly) recognize that Russia is indeed "white" (thereby also proving that they are not nationalists, as their alleigance was to "Whiteness", not Ukraine).

This person I believe belongs to the former category, which gives me hope that there are indeed true anti-Turanists in Ukraine.
