The other option I think is that Putin suffers such a catastrophic defeat he is either removed from power by his own military or intelligence services, or he withdraws. That would be the 4th option. Perhaps his military is resilient enough to go another 3 to 6 months, but even then I do not see how this is winnable for Russia at this point?
