Reminder: Russia is part of Western civilization, this is why it has Western architecture and Western traditions, including Judeo-Christianity. Russia is not some innocent non-Western country that is constantly having to defend itself from Western aggression. Russia is a Western nation that has been just as aggressive in the past as other Western nations have been, regardless of what Alexandr Dugin would like other Westerners and non-Westerners alike to believe.

Why isn’t NATO fighting Russia? Indian army generals respond
Quote
For months now, tens of thousands of US and NATO troops have been positioned along Ukraine’s western borders, with the most sophisticated war machinery in the world. Their leaders have issued thundering threats to Russian President Vladimir Putin.  Yet, Russia unleashed air power, tanks and 190000 troops and has invaded Ukraine. Ukrainian civilians, reservists and troops are fighting a valiant but unequal battle, nearly 150 civilians including children have been killed within barely three days.  So where is NATO and why isn’t it helping Ukrainians fight the Russians? In an exclusive conversation with Padma Rao Sundarji for Times Online, India’s generals Ata Hasnain and Shokin Chauhan provide the answers.

Locals Confront Russian Governor Over Sons Being Used 'As Cannon Fodder' In Ukraine War
Quote
The mothers of Russian soldiers involved in Moscow's invasion of Ukraine angrily confronted the governor of Siberia's Kemerovo region asking if their sons were "lied to" and being used as "cannon fodder."

Starting to sound like Putin used conscript soldiers to draw enemy fire so as to identify Ukrainian positions. Logical in the short term, but definitely not moral. This strategy can backfire also because conscript soldiers do not have the morale of volunteer soldiers. Once conscript morale is broken it can have a contagious effect on volunteer morale also. Sounds like Putin did literally use his conscripts as "cannon fodder". This is also not a new Russian military strategy either.

Old information but worth revisiting because of recent events. Never forget it was the Allies\Westerners that made Neo-Nazism possible by trying to erase an entire political philosophy from history, and exactly why so few people in the world actually understand what German National Socialism was all about today. The main reason things are the way they are today and we are on the brink of nuclear war is because all Western lies are finally beginning to catch up with Westerners.

Neo-Nazi threat in new Ukraine: NEWSNIGHT
Quote
BBC Newsnight's Gabriel Gatehouse investigates the links between the new Ukrainian government and Neo-nazis

Russia\USSR certainly played a critical role in erasing German national socialism from history and paving the way for far-right Neo-Nazism:
Quote
From the beginning, denazification in the Soviet zone was considered a critical element of the transformation into a socialist society and was quickly and effectively put into practice.[45] Members of the Nazi Party and its organizations were arrested and interned.[46] The NKVD was directly in charge of this process, and oversaw the camps. In 1948, the camps were placed under the same administration as the gulag in the Soviet government. According to official records, 122,600 people were interned. 34,700 of those interned in this process were considered to be Soviet citizens, with the rest being German.[47] This process happened at the same time as the expropriation of large landowners and Junkers, who were also often former Nazi supporters.[48]

Because part of the intended goal of denazification in the Soviet zone was also the removal of anti-socialist sentiment, the committees in charge of the process were politically skewed. A typical panel would have one member from the Christian Democratic Union, one from the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany, three from the Socialist Unity Party of Germany, and three from political mass organizations (who were typically also supportive of the Socialist Unity Party).[49]
East German propaganda poster in 1957

Former Nazi officials quickly realized that they would face fewer obstacles and investigations in the zones controlled by the Western Allies. Many of them saw a chance to defect to the West on the pretext of anti-communism.[50] Conditions in the internment camps were terrible, and between 42,000 and 80,000 prisoners died. When the camps were closed in 1950, prisoners were handed over to the East German government.[51]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denazification

General George S Patton warned against denazification:
Quote
General Patton went on to declare that he had “never seen the necessity of the denazification program,” asserting that 98 per cent of the Nazis were just camp followers.
https://www.newyorker.com/news/amy-davidson/blood-and-guts-and-mcchrystal

Keep the above in mind when Westerners like Putin speak of the need to "denazify" the Ukraine government:
Quote
Of the many distortions manufactured by Russian President Vladimir Putin to justify Russia’s assault on Ukraine, perhaps the most bizarre is his claim that the action was taken to “denazify” the country and its leadership. In making his case for entering his neighbor’s territory with armored tanks and fighter jets, Putin has stated that the move was undertaken “to protect people” who have been “subjected to bullying and genocide,” and that Russia “will strive for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.”
https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/ukraine-has-nazi-problem-vladimir-putin-s-denazification-claim-war-ncna1290946

Perhaps Putin was not lying? Perhaps Putin is simply just one more historically ignorant Westerner himself? Regardless, this is just one more example of how much damage ignorant Westerners have done to this world and all those that wish to be like them! Now it's all finally catching up to us....

Ukrainian veterans of the Azov Battalion, formed by a white supremacist and banned from receiving U.S. aid, attend a rally in Kyiv on March 14, 2020.

Why is Putin not concerned with de-westernizing Ukraine if his biggest beef is with "the West" I wonder? Is it because Russians are in fact Westerners themselves?:

Looks pretty Western to me. Nice Western suits and ties too guys! Good work, as usual!  :D

Ukrainians are winning: Russian troops ‘demoralised’ and ‘running out of gas’
Quote
Major John Spencer has warned if Russia continues its bloodthirsty war against its smaller neighbour there could be greater civilian casualties than most of the battles in World War II – but so far the Ukrainians are winning.

“These cities are still populated as you saw the evacuation that is required to happen hasn’t happened,” he said.

“There’s only one city that matters here, there’s only one objective for Russia, that’s to take Kyiv, take the government out, put his own government in.

“All war is politics, if he doesn’t – if he’s not able to do that he can’t win, and every day that he can’t he’s losing.”

Mr Spencer, chair of Urban Warfare Studies with the Madison Policy Forum, told Sky News Australia Russia’s war had only just begun and was entering the “most dangerous phase”.

“The Ukrainians are winning – every day they don’t lose they win,” he said.

We all see the pressure that Putin’s under, the Russian economy, his troops, they’re demoralised, running out of gas, and this is all before they get to the close combat which is to come, unfortunately, within the cities.

Not to mention, all this with the possibility of more mistakes on Putin's part. This is what they did not add to the end of that list. This could still get 10 times worse for Russia. I guess we'll see....

Russia’s invasion prompts more assertive foreign policy from Japan
Quote
Japan this week announced it would accept refugees from Ukraine and send bulletproof vests to Kyiv — extraordinary measures taken by a country that has historically been unwelcoming to refugees and also has a self-imposed arms exports ban because of its militaristic past.

They were decisions made without “gaiatsu,” or foreign pressure, several Japanese officials note, underscoring Japan’s determination to show it will not stand for Moscow’s behavior, a stance that defies the pacifist values that undergird postwar Japanese identity.

Russia’s troubling actions — most recently its attack on a Ukrainian nuclear power plant — have triggered a deep alarm that is likely to accelerate Japan’s debate over defense and security policies that had been underway amid China’s growing territorial threat.

The perilous international situation has raised urgent questions about Japan’s readiness and crisis management capabilities under its war-renouncing constitution, and has brought Japan closer than ever to significantly raising its defense spending — a long-standing and controversial debate — as a part of its national security policy review this year.

Quote
Russia invaded Ukraine more than a week ago, by land, air and sea, following weeks of tension, sending thousands to various borders to evacuate the country. African citizens living in Ukraine have reported incidents of racist discrimination and abuse at the border, which can include beatings, being denied entry to trains or being left stranded in border towns.

“There was a gap in the access Black people and brown people were getting. There was no one offering their homes to Black people, no one offering to pick up the Black individuals,” Daley told NBC News.
...
Sky said that what should have been a nine-hour journey to Lviv to board a train to a border town on the outskirts of Ukraine ended up taking 24 hours because of traffic and Ukrainian officials stopping the group nearly 10 times to check their documents.

The four were initially headed to the Polish border but had heard from peers that Black people at the border village of Medyka had faced severe racism. So Sky and the group decided to seek refuge in Romania, but treatment there was no better. Sky said just before they could cross the border into Romania, she and her fellow Africans were told to leave the line. They were then told to go to a separate line, where she said they stood for at least nine hours.

“It clicked at that point that it was segregation. I realized there was a nonwhite queue and a white queue,” Sky said. “The language is, ‘It’s because you’re not Ukrainian.’ But that basically means, ‘It’s because you’re not white.’ "

Sky documented her journey on her Twitter feed while sharing information and resources for other Black people in the area. Sky and Daley said taxi drivers would hike prices for those fleeing, charging hundreds for transportation to border towns.

There were other stories about taxi drivers transporting "whites" for free! So now you know who really paid for the fuel for the "white" passengers' journeys!

“How much closer does that draw the US to direct combat with Russia in Ukraine?”
