Capitol Riot Signifies ‘End Of The Trump Era,’ Says Former CIA Director

Former CIA Director and NBC’s senior intelligence and national security analyst John Brennan joins Weekend TODAY to discuss the aftermath following the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol. Brennan also says there needs to be “a unanimous denunciation of any type of use of violence” as white nationalists and militia groups attempt “to take action into their own hands.”

It is SO easy to debunk the ideology of "white nationalism" as the oxymoron it truly is, when are people in the government actually going to do it? "White" is a tribal identity not a race, tribalism and nationalism are mutually exclusive. It's 2021 and no one in the U.S. government is able to recognize this fact? Does anyone in the U.S. government even truly understand what a nation-state is and how they came into being in the first place? And now we're all supposed to believe the U.S. government has what it takes to resolve these issues once and for all and heal this country and unite Americans? This is turning into a sicker joke by the minute....

How long have we here been railing against "white nationalism" and it's danger to the nation-state now, 15 years, 20? I know I starting talking **** to "white nationalists" on their forums and blogs 2006-2007 ish, before I even found you folks. Amazing! Absolutely amazing!!!
