Fortunately, two can play at this game, and it's good to see leftists finally doing it too:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/vietnamese-restaurant-gets-hate-mail-022700319.html

Quote
Tank Noodle, a Vietnamese restaurant in Chicago, is being bombarded by hate mail and threats after its owners attended the “Save America” rally in Washington D.C. on Wednesday. Its owners, Thu and Thuc Ly, and their son and the general manager of the restaurant, Thien Ly, all attended the rally by plane. They returned to Chicago by Thursday, Thien Ly told TODAY Food.

Hundreds of people shared screenshots on all social media platforms of Thu Ly’s post from the rally, which was originally shared on Facebook by Thien’s sister, Gwen Ly. Screenshots were also shared of a selfie posted to Facebook by Thien Ly of him and his father, Thuc Ly, on the plane to Chicago.

“Jan#6 Get Wild! #fightfortrump,” Thien Ly's caption said.
...
Now, Thien Ly says, ownership and the restaurant's employees are getting death threats over the phone and on social media.

“I’m being labeled a terrorist for attending the rally,” he said. “We’re getting death threats called in to the restaurant, people threatening my employees, people saying they’re gonna burn down our restaurant.”

I would love to see it happen, preferably with the entire family trapped inside.

Thien Ly, 33, verified the screenshots to TODAY, saying he traveled to Washington, D.C. with his parents, his mother-in-law, and a family friend for the rally. Thien Ly said the group was unaware of the violence occurring at the Capitol during the time they were at the rally at the White House. He said they had not gone to the Capitol and only attended the rally.

"We’re not violent people and it’s horrifying to see what happened at the Capitol," he told TODAY. "It’s a sad day for the country. We’re in disbelief about what’s going on right now."

His sister arrived to open the restaurant on Friday morning and found a shotgun shell casing sitting in front of the store.

Thien Ly deactivated his Facebook profile and the Facebook page of Tank Noodle because he was receiving so many death threats, he told TODAY.
...
“We had a great following, which now is probably going to get worse for us,” Thien Ly said. “We’ve been making it through just enough to keep our employees employed and pay our bills and stay afloat.”

People have also flooded the Tank Noodle Yelp page with 1-star reviews, causing Yelp to issue an alert on their page, warning people were posting "their views on the news rather than actual consumer experiences with the business."

"I do not want to spend my money at a place that is run by people who support white supremacist insurrectionists," one of the new reviews, posted Jan. 6, reads. "AVOID this place since the owners are coming back from the super spreader event."

Another thing leftists can do is find out if they are renting the property for the restaurant. If so, they should contact the property owner and pressure them to throw Tank Noodle off the property.

Capitol Riot Signifies ‘End Of The Trump Era,’ Says Former CIA Director
Quote
Former CIA Director and NBC’s senior intelligence and national security analyst John Brennan joins Weekend TODAY to discuss the aftermath following the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol. Brennan also says there needs to be “a unanimous denunciation of any type of use of violence” as white nationalists and militia groups attempt “to take action into their own hands.”

It is SO easy to debunk the ideology of "white nationalism" as the oxymoron it truly is, when are people in the government actually going to do it? "White" is a tribal identity not a race, tribalism and nationalism are mutually exclusive. It's 2021 and no one in the U.S. government is able to recognize this fact? Does anyone in the U.S. government even truly understand what a nation-state is and how they came into being in the first place? And now we're all supposed to believe the U.S. government has what it takes to resolve these issues once and for all and heal this country and unite Americans? This is turning into a sicker joke by the minute....

How long have we here been railing against "white nationalism" and it's danger to the nation-state now, 15 years, 20? I know I starting talking **** to "white nationalists" on their forums and blogs 2006-2007 ish, before I even found you folks. Amazing! Absolutely amazing!!!

"This Is Not Us" Is A Lie! America Fights History

The line "This is Not Us" appeared all over after Trump's deadly riot on the Capitol. But what if this is us? What if the  violence and racism modern Americans reject were the legacy of the violence that created America in the first place?

Capitol riot: The ‘third world’ trope offends, misreads history
Quote
Condemning the Capitol Hill riot, President George W. Bush and Senator Marco Rubio likened it to political upheavals in “Banana Republics” and the “third world.” But Lucia Dammert, a Wilson Center Global Fellow and Professor at the University of Santiago of Chile objects to the comparison to the Global South -- adding that the U.S. has played a key role in sparking the turbulence, especially in Latin America.

Latest in-depth analysis:

https://authenticamericandream.blogspot.com/2021/01/post-trump-republican-coup-insurrection-topics-to-discuss.html

Meanwhile, it continues:

https://www.yahoo.com/huffpost/kentucky-militia-mitch-mcconnell-capitol-rioters-050541735.html

Quote
Dozens of heavily armed self-described militia members dressed in camouflage descended on Kentucky’s statehouse Saturday to loudly bash Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and praise the Donald Trump-supporting rioters who stormed the nation’s Capitol.

The men, toting rifles and zip ties, also railed against socialism, communism, and Kentucky’s Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear, the Lexington Herald-Leader reported.

They were there to demand the democratic election for president be overturned.

At one point they took a knee to honor Air Force veteran Ashli Babbit, who was fatally shot inside the Capitol Wednesday as she climbed through a window to the Speaker’s Lobby after a mob of Trump supporters had stormed the building.
...
The Kentucky protest was among the most ominous of several demonstrations at state Capitols across the nation this week as Trump supporters continue to demand he continue as president, despite voters’ choice. There were rallies Wednesday in Kansas, Michigan, Idaho and California, among others.

In Salem, Oregon, the white nationalist Proud Boys group clashed with left-wing protesters, using smoke bombs and a rapid-fire paintball rifle.

And what does Trump himself think of his terrorists?

https://us.yahoo.com/news/trump-more-upset-capitol-mob-161414849.html

Quote
Mr Trump was apparently turned off by the chaotic scene, although not due to the assault on the US government but according to New York Magazine, because his supporters looked “low-class”.

“He doesn’t like low class things,” an anonymous White House source told the magazine.

Retaliation remains shamefully feeble:

Several Democratic leaders in North Carolina are calling for an investigation into U.S. Congressman Madison Cawthorn claiming that he had a hand in inciting the violence that occurred during the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

A letter sent on Saturday, Jan. 9, to U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, signed by N.C. District 11 leaders of the Democratic Party, lists examples they say are grounds for Rep. Cawthorn’s expulsion from Congress.

Corporations halt donations to GOP who voted to overturn elections
Quote
Some of America's biggest companies are suspending donations to Republican Congress members who objected to the Electoral College's votes.
The growing list of those corporations, including BlueCross BlueShield, Citigroup (C), Commerce Bank and Marriott (MAR), comes after a pro-Trump mob breached the US Capitol last Wednesday to fight against the ceremonial counting of electoral votes that confirmed President-elect Joe Biden's win.
147 Republicans voted against certification of the electoral votes in a joint session of Congress last Wednesday evening. They included Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley, Kansas Sen. Roger Marshall, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville, among hundreds other congress members.
"At the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, we continuously evaluate our political contributions to ensure that those we support share our values and goals," said Kim Keck, BlueCross BlueShield's president and CEO, in a statement. "In light of this week's violent, shocking assault on the United States Capitol, and the votes of some members of Congress to subvert the results of November's election by challenging Electoral College results, BCBSA will suspend contributions to those lawmakers who voted to undermine our democracy."
The health insurance company's BLUEPAC political action committee -- supported only by employee contributions -- donated $246,750 to Republican lawmakers during the 2020 cycle. That included $10,000 to Sen. Tuberville, $1,000 to Sen. Marshall and $500 to Sen. Hawley.
BlueCross BlueShield said it's stopping donations to all 147 Republicans who challenged the Electoral College results.

He has reportedly been charged with one count of 'knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority' and one count of 'violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.'
