Is the Western worldview centred on economics? I would argue that the worldviews of non-Western civilizations are more centred on economics:

The author views the Trojan Wars as an unconscious metaphor for the clash of the civilizations that resulted from the arrival of the Indo-Europeans in the eastern Mediterranean.
