https://www.yahoo.com/huffpost/pennsylvania-trump-vote-twice-2020-012949817.htmlPresident Donald Trump once again told Americans to vote twice during a rally in Pennsylvania, his latest effort to undermine an expected surge in mail-in ballots this November.
...
“What you have to do is send in your early ballot and then go and make sure that ballot is tabulated or counted, and if it’s not counted, vote,” he said. “And then they have the job, if it comes in late, or if it’s not too late, they have the job of making sure that it’s not counted.”
Let's think about this for a moment. The main point behind mail-in voting is to avoid having to go to vote in person. But
if you are willing to go in person anyway (as would be required were you to follow Trump's advice), then how does it help to mail in your vote beforehand? Unless, of course, Trump wants a chance that both are counted.
What Trump is really saying is: vote twice, and if the system fails to discard one of your votes, it's the system's fault. In short: cheat, because it is the system's responsibility to catch you cheating, not your responsibility to not cheat.
The real question should be: since Trump is openly advocating cheating, why isn't he being disqualified from the election at once? In all other contests, cheating is grounds for immediate disqualification of the cheater. Why not in an election?

...
“Are you able to register, are you able to cast your vote and will your ballot be counted? And if you are facing obstacles in exercising this most important right, then that is voter suppression.”
