Advocates Network released an open letter to William and Kate, from 100 prominent Jamaicans, calling the couple "direct beneficiaries of the wealth accumulated by the royal family over centuries, including that from the trafficking and enslavement of Africans."
...
There were still the usual trappings of ceremony on their trip, for better or worse. William and Kate rode in a parade with Jamaica's Defense Force in the back of the same open Land Rover that the queen and her husband, Prince Philip, traveled in when they last visited in 1994, the ability to smile and charm and pretend nothing is out of the ordinary being part of the couple's job.

Really, it may be No. 1 on the list of qualifications.

"It just looked like a throwback of a different time, which cannot be at all what they wanted," journalist and royals expert Jonathan Sacerdoti told E! News in an exclusive interview.

Then:

Now:

Surely all those soldiers in the background were numerous enough to rush down the Land Rover and tear the Windsors limb from limb? How could they have let two such chances pass by?

Quote
The Queen's Platinum Jubilee pudding has 22 ingredients and takes a whole day to make.
...
British royalty have a long-held tradition with commemorative food.

When Queen Victoria ascended to the throne in 1838, her coronation was celebrated with the creation of the Victoria sponge — a jam and cream cake that can still be found in almost every shop in the UK.

When Queen Elizabeth II took the throne in 1953, it was celebrated with the creation of "coronation chicken" in her honor.

With the Queen celebrating her 70th year on the throne as Britain's longest-reigning monarch, it seemed only fitting that the incumbent monarch's milestone was set to be celebrated with a new recipe.
...
Home-baker Gemma Melvin had the winning recipe, impressing the judges with her lemon Swiss roll and amaretti trifle.

The recipe was heavily inspired by lemon possets, a cream-based dessert served at the Queen and Prince Philip's wedding, as noted by Melvin in the televised final, "The Jubilee Pudding: 70 Years in the Baking."

So, how Turanian is it? See for yourselves:

While she is certainly a parasite, I have a feeling whoever wrote this thinks having a parliament of 1423 parasites is somehow better than simply having a populist monarch.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service. Many in Kenya, however, would say it's a celebration of disservice to them. It was around 70 years ago, in 1952, that the Mau Mau uprising against British colonial rule started.

As many as 90,000 Kenyans were killed or tortured. More than 160,000 were forced into concentration camps during eight years of mayhem and bloodshed. The uprising was brutally put down by British colonial forces, sowing the seeds for Kenyan independence in 1963.

After years of fighting for justice, there was a breakthrough in 2013. More than 5,000 Kenyans who'd been subjected to torture or other forms of mistreatment in the 1950s won compensation from the British government.

But thousands of claims are still pending. And some have never benefitted.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11143811/Prince-Harry-arrives-private-flight-electric-car-Range-Rover-drops-polo-kit.html

Quote
Not very eco-friendly! Prince Harry sits in idling $9 million private jet for 30 minutes while he waits for staff to arrive in gas-guzzling Range Rover to deliver his forgotten polo kit
...
Harry, who regularly preaches his views about the 'climate crisis' hitting the world, arrived at the airport close to his $14million Montecito home in an electric Audi SUV.

But he then sat in the idling private jet for 30 minutes before the royal's staff arrived with his polo gear in a black Range Rover at around 11.35am.

Two men were then seen ferrying Harry's green kit bag and mallets to the plane in a golf cart before placing them in the cargo hold.

The private jet is owned by Florida-based businessman Marc Ganzi, who is a longtime friend of Harry's and a polo enthusiast.

The Ganzi family have played with Harry’s brother William and father Prince Charles previously in London several times, and are already at the club in Colorado ahead of the event today.

Ahead of the one-day event, Harry said he and his team were 'delighted to return once again to the stunning grounds of Aspen Valley Polo Club for the annual Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup'.
...
The couple have been slammed on multiple occasions for being hypocrites for their use of private jets, despite preaching about 'making a difference' and the need for 'urgent intervention' to halt climate change.
...
Harry's hour and a half trip to Aspen would have emitted more than six tonnes of carbon dioxide for the one way trip, and just over 12 tonnes if he takes the jet on his return flight.
...
Climate experts believe that the Sussex's journey from the UK to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee, to California resulted in ten times more carbon being emitted than if they had taken a commercial flight.

Their flight from Farnborough to Santa Barbara would have emitted nearly 60 tonnes of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Despite the couple repeatedly preaching about the severity of global warming, their return trip to England and Harry's jaunt to play polo means that they have exceeded their yearly carbon budget by more than 3400 per cent.
...
Harry and Meghan's private jet trips this year alone, including their round trip to the UK, equals 72 tonnes of carbon dioxide - more than 36 times the advised limit.

Earlier this year, Harry and Meghan launched new eco-travel project which would see holidaymakers 'rated' on their green credentials.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11182929/Royals-urged-pay-slavery-reparations-Prince-Charles-edits-UKs-leading-black-newspaper.html

Quote
Britain’s leading black newspaper has called for the Royal Family to apologise and pay slavery reparations after a backlash from readers over its decision to let Prince Charles ‘guest edit’ an edition.
...
the decision to allow royal involvement had ‘unleashed a torrent of criticism’ from readers.
...
The monthly newspaper’s editor Lester Holloway told BBC London: ‘All of the institutions, including the Royal Family, that have been involved in the historical horrors of colonialism have not apologised for slavery and what we’ve got is statements of personal regret which is absolutely not good enough.’

It should not be about reparations. It should be about eliminating the Windsor bloodline. Should robbers be allowed to buy their way out of execution with money (let alone with stolen money)? If not, why should the Windsor bloodline be allowed to continue to exist merely on the condition that it pays money?

Wokism now pouring in:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/carnegie-mellon-professor-wishes-queen-183350070.html

Quote
Carnegie Mellon professor wishes Queen Elizabeth ‘excruciating pain’ as she ‘finally’ dies
...
"I heard the chief monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire is finally dying," Carnegie Mellon University Professor Uju Anya tweeted on Thursday morning. "May her pain be excruciating."
...
"If anyone expects me to express anything but disdain for the monarch who supervised a government that sponsored the genocide that massacred and displaced half my family and the consequences of which those alive today are still trying to overcome, you can keep wishing upon a star," Anya later tweeted.

And from the comments:

Quote
The British empire did inflict unspeakable atrocities in many of its colonies.  Elizabeth was the head of the British empire so the animosity.

Quote
I agree.  The British ruled very ruthlessly in many areas of the empire and had a lot of disdain for those citizens.  Racial animosity is still deep in British society.  Get to know some Brits and you'll understand.

Quote
Ultra-wealthy people, part of a legacy of colonial exploitation worldwide, did an awful lot of harm in accumulating their personal wealth.  Those extremely expensive outfits she wore with matching mad-hatter hats at each photo op were more than most commoners earn in a year.  And we only saw what the British monarch CHOSE to let us see.  These are people completely out of touch with regular people, a royal family (whatever "royal" means!) with their own press agents and public relations teams that shape public opinion about them.  When you control hundreds of billions of pounds, it's rather easy to do something good with some of your lucre, but honestly when I saw that she had died suddenly, I was taken aback at all the hoopla.  I thought to myself, "This is simply a very rich person that has died at a ripe old age.  End of story."  Sadly, inequality in wealth distribution and exploitation of the Third World is far from over.

Quote
If you knew anything about history or empathy you'd probably understand the disdain. For many around the globe that lived under European occupation, The Queen is a symbol of oppression and misery.

Quote
Amen to that!!  There is only one King, and His name is JESUS.  Ppl should stop worshipping man and worship God.  Thieving, raping, colonizing, genociding country.  Look at the division they caused in Africa, India, China. Genocide of the indigenous ppl of the Americas.  Why would anyone celebrate a person who represents such an evil wicked country?  We don't need any so called "royal" family.  They are a bunch of welfare recipients.

The “Royal Firm” Is a $28 Billion Empire
...
Back in February 2021, The Guardian released a bombshell report alleging that Queen Elizabeth II “successfully lobbied the government to change a draft law in order to conceal her ‘embarrassing’ private wealth from the public.” Apparently, this occurred in the 1970s and “placed a veil of secrecy over the Queen’s private shareholdings and investments until at least 2011.”

Quote
"In addition to the colonization on the side of Nigeria, there's also the human enslavement in the Caribbean," she said. "So there's a direct lineage that I have to not just people who were colonized, but also people who were enslaved by the British."

While Elizabeth ruled as Britain navigated a post-colonial era, she still bore a connection to its colonial past, which was rooted in racism and violence against Asian and African colonies. There have been growing calls in recent years for the monarchy to confront its colonial past.

Zoé Samudzi, a Zimbabwean American writer and an assistant professor of photography at the Rhode Island School of Design, wrote on Twitter: “As the first generation of my family not born in a British colony, I would dance on the graves of every member of the royal family if given the opportunity, especially hers.” She did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
...
"I take deep offense at the notion that the oppressed and survivors of violence have to somehow be deferential or respectful when their oppressors die," Anya said. The crown, she said, continues to "meddle in African affairs" and oppress.

"There are people literally around the world, rejoicing at this woman's death, not because they're vile or cold but because her reign and the reign of her monarchy by extension was violent," Anya said.

She said she hopes that her commentary on Twitter prompts people to research the Nigerian Civil War.

Hours before the royal family announced the queen’s death, Ebony Thomas, an associate professor at the University of Michigan School of Education, cautioned against policing how people reacted to the announcement from Buckingham Palace that Elizabeth had been placed under medical supervision and that her doctors were "concerned" about her health.

"Telling the colonized how they should feel about their colonizer's health and wellness is like telling my people that we ought to worship the Confederacy," Thomas tweeted. "'Respect the dead' when we're all writing these Tweets *in English.* How'd that happen, hm? We just chose this language?" Her tweet was liked more than 25,000 times

The situation so far:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/due-british-colonialism-king-charles-210810072.html

Quote
Due to British colonialism, which saw the British Empire invade and conquer regions across the world for centuries, King Charles is now the monarch and head of state of the UK and 14 other countries — known as Commonwealth realms.

The Commonwealth realms include: Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Grenada, Jamaica, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Solomon Islands, and Tuvalu.
...
In addition to Barbados, the 16 countries that removed Queen Elizabeth as head of state after she ascended the throne in 1952 are Sri Lanka, Fiji, The Gambia, Ghana, Guyana, Kenya, Malawi, Malta, Mauritius, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania (Tanganyika), Trinidad and Tobago, and Uganda.

We are more than halfway there! Only 15 more to go!

More woke comments:

Quote
The UK and its monarchy committed crime and stole from other countries for years. People in the Middle East, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Africa, ... all hate UK colonialism and what monarchy stands for.

Additional wokeness:

Quote
"Black Twitter is on fire today," read one viral tweet, which showed an image of a man posing seemingly victoriously beside a grave that had been mocked up as the queen's.

Showing similar sentiment, another popular tweet showed the words: "We are sad to announce that the queen has died," alongside a picture of the late Princess Diana laughing, styled to represent Black Twitter's feelings on the news.

The Queen ascended to the throne at a time of change for the British Empire and the subsequent forming of the Commonwealth of Nations. Many people from former colonies consider her a figurehead for the brutality their people suffered under British imperialism.
...
"Black Twitter is absolutely Black Twittering right now," said The Atlantic contributing writer Jemele Hill, who defended people questioning the queen's legacy.

"Journalists are tasked with putting legacies into full context, so it is entirely appropriate to examine the queen and her role in the devastating impact of continued colonialism," wrote Hill.
...
Eugene Scott, a national political reporter at The Washington Post, chose to address those who criticized the timing of those speaking out.

"Real question for the 'now is not the appropriate time to talk about the negative impact of colonialism' crowd: When is the appropriate time to talk about the negative impact of colonialism?" Scott asked.

Defend Prof. Anya!

https://www.yahoo.com/news/professor-caused-uproar-wishing-queen-162849586.html

Quote
The Professor Who Caused An Uproar By Wishing The Queen "Excruciating" Pain On Twitter Is Defending Her Position

Uju Anya, a professor at Carnegie Mellon University who sparked backlash after her tweet wishing Queen Elizabeth II “excruciating” pain went viral, is defending her position, saying in a statement that “I stand by what I said.”
...
On Friday, Anya told The Cut her email inbox was flooded with hateful messages, with subject lines that “all start with the N-word, ****, genetically inferior.”

But Anya continued to defend her beliefs. “There’s not going to be any apology from me,” she said on Friday. “I stand by what I said.” On social media, she has retweeted more posts discussing the horrific impacts of British colonization.
