And first of all, there is original sanctity of all life, but there is no sanctity in the lives of those who do not believe in the original sanctity of all life. Until you understand this, your firearm will remain ornamental.

Wrong. Racists own AR-15s. Good luck fighting an AR-15 shooter with a Beretta.

I wish AR-15s had never been invented. But given that they have, and our enemies are using AR-15s, we need to use AR-15s against them! It is always justified to use any existing machine to kill the same civilization which invented that machine. We are already handicapped by our ethical unwillingness to invent new machines (which is initiated violence); we cannot afford to further handicap ourselves with stupid refusal to use machines already invented by our enemies.
