This is a variant of the Goy biscuit trick. It is doubly effective because Chinese Eurocentrists thirst for praise from "whites" (including Jews), and thus upon receiving any are assured to work even harder to receive more of the same.

But I would say the Israeli railroads are also a consequence of China's extremely stupid approach of trying to avoid taking a side. China is also building railroads in Iran, for example, so in order to not give the impression that it is doing Iran any special favours, China builds railroads in Israel too. The most stupid aspect of this is that China seems to honestly believe that by doing so, both Iran and Israel will trust China more, when in reality neither will. The only way to gain true allies is to openly declare enemies. China does not seem to understand this most elementary principle of politics.

What makes things more confusing is that, while there exist self-proclaimed "anti-Western" activists in China, they are not actually anti-Western! Sure, they reject the mainstream Chinese Eurocentrist ranking of civilizations:

which only makes an exception for Chinese alone out of vanity, while reinforcing the main assertion that Western is still superior to the rest (in other words, they are pro-Western aside from their vanity).

Western
Anti-Eurocentrism is emphatically not about promoting the idea of Chinese superiority. It is about promoting the idea of Western inferiority, and by such a large margin as to be ludicrous. But at present almost no one appears to get this. Still, I am trying to get the message out.
