A Democratic congressman from Minnesota has called out the progressive wing of his party for what he says is their "deafening" silence on the rising anti-Semitic attacks in America.

Rep. Dean Phillips, whose district covers the western suburbs of the Twin Cities including Bloomington, Eden Prairie and Edina, put his progressive colleagues on notice in a Monday tweet. The two-term congressman eviscerated the progressives for not putting as much gusto behind condemning anti-Semitism as they have other progressive priorities.

"I'll say the quiet part out loud; it's time for ‘progressives’ to start condemning anti-semitism and violent attacks on Jewish people with the same intention and vigor demonstrated in other areas of activism," Phillips tweeted.

"The silence has been deafening," the native of St. Paul, Minnesota added.

I will also say the quiet part out loud:

Phillips was born to DeeDee (Cohen) and Artie Pfefer in 1969.[3]

Phillips is married and has two daughters from a previous marriage. He is Jewish[18] and was acknowledged by the Minnesota publication The American Jewish World for serving on the board of Temple Israel in Minneapolis.[19]

You are a Jew. So STFU.

Who else? Here's another one:

Some Democrats, however, did issue strong pro-Israel statements both on the House floor and in answering questions from the press. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., proclaimed on the House floor that "Hamas and Islamic jihad are single-handedly responsible for the escalation that has led to the bloodshed of Israelis and Palestinians… Israel has every right to defend herself."

Wasserman Schultz supported Israel in the 2014 Israel–Gaza conflict and criticized MSNBC's coverage of the conflict. She said: "Clearly [MSNBC was] highlighting what Israel had done to Gaza and the plight of Palestinians. My first thought was, where is the balance? Where is the spotlight on what Jewish children in Israel go through from being victims of rocket attacks?"[35]

Wasserman Schultz supported President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. She stated: "We must work toward a day where the entire world recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and that can be achieved through final status negotiations. I remain as committed as ever to safeguarding Israel's future as a Jewish and democratic state, at peace with its neighbors, with Jerusalem as its undisputed capital."[36]
...
Wasserman Schultz is the first female Jewish congressperson from the state of Florida.[38][39]

She and Senator Arlen Specter were the driving forces behind the resolution that declared every May Jewish American Heritage Month. The annual observance was created to recognize "the accomplishments of American Jews and the important role that members of the Jewish community have played in the development of American culture".[40]

All Jewish Blue politicians should be primaried with those running against them explicitly stating they are doing so because the incumbents are Jews and therefore necessarily incompatible with Blue politics.
