Strictly speaking, it implies that Jews believe in keeping for themselves what they consider to be good. It does not imply that Jews have the correct beliefs about what is good. Similarly, the fact that Judaism does not try to proselytize to get everyone to worship Yahweh does not imply that Yahweh actually deserves to be worshipped, but does expose Jewish tribal thinking.
