I don't even like the term "CRT", as it suggests that it is something more than merely honest teaching of history. If you look in the mirror and dislike your own reflection, it's not the mirror's fault!

Teaching about colonialism would not be possible if colonialism had never happened. Teaching about "whiteness" would not be possible if no one had ever invented "whiteness". Teachers teaching about colonialism and "whiteness" are simply doing their job, yet instead of blaming the colonialists who invented "whiteness", rightists prefer to blame the teachers.

The term "CRT" is as intellectually dishonest as Trump using the term "witch hunt" to describe all investigations into his crimes. It is based on the exact same attitude of believing oneself to be above accountability.
