But this attitude is frightening. The core of the rule of law is that no one, not even the president, is above the law. If voters are willing to ignore Trump’s violations of the law, the message that sends about approving lawlessness is scary. If he wins the presidency, he surely would begin by believing that he need not follow the law and that his constituency will support him even when he blatantly violates it.

For decades, conservatives have identified themselves as the champions of “law and order.” It is ironic and perplexing that they could embrace a candidate who shows so little regard of the law.

rich leftists want everybody, besides themselves, out of private vehicles: they want them in public transportation, on bikes or on foot. California has been trying for years to make it illegal to drive a vehicle that's older than 10 years because they want to get all the poorer people off the roads - and only the very brave and very crazy are going to dare a major California highway on a bicycle. They're going to encourage the use of bicycles because they don't want you driving an automobile on 'their' roads. It has never been about 'the environment' when you see the Left supporting restrictions on private vehicles and putting in lots of bike lanes instead: it is always about depriving you of your freedom of movement.

Too many bicyclist see themselves as morally superior to car drivers.

Taking away traffic lanes from cars to make bicycle lanes for the handful of lunatics and health fanatics, who want to use a bicycle to commute, is an insane idea which has been implemented by liberals who love to do lunatic things, and it does make ordinary people hate bicyclists.

Moreover, the promotion of "green initiatives" and "bicycle routes" by local governments has more to do with the continual pushing of Agenda 2030 and so-called "15 minute" cities that have nothing to do with environmentalism and more to do with controlling people.

 

Which group is more dangerous:
"White" hubristic plebians (classical liberal types), or "White" "aristocrats" (anti Enlightenment/traditional Renaissance types)?
