Suitable Western classical music accompaniment to the above set of pictures? The Garden Symphony, of course!



The more I post, the more I think to myself: how did anyone outside the West ever manage to convince themselves that Western civilization was in any way "beautiful"?

Also, some people who realize the ugliness of the above but who still try to defend Western civilization say dishonest stuff like: "That was just a phase we had to go through. Our tastes aren't like that anymore." If so, then why continue to put effort into maintaining the gardens the way the were? Why still play the classical music in concerts? And so on. You clearly still value them at least enough to preserve them! (This is basically the same argument they use for not removing colonialist statues: "We aren't colonialists any more, so let us keep the colonialist statues up!" If you want to keep the colonialist statues up, you are proud of colonialism, therefore you are a colonialist!)

As for being a "phase", why did no other civilization in history have to go through such a phase? That Western civilization alone had to go through such a phase is already evidence of its inferiority! How much damage has it done to the entire world while going through its phase?! Are we supposed to overlook all that?!
