On July 28, 2010, Catalonia became the first mainland region of Spain to ban bullfighting, known in Spanish as la corrida de toros, or “the running of the bulls” (bullfighting was banned in the Canary Islands in 1991). The new law, which will take effect on Jan. 1, 2012, is being celebrated by Spanish animal rights activists and humanitarians as an important victory for civilized and enlightened values in Spain. (Update: The ban was overturned by Spain’s Constitutional Court in October 2016.)

" I personally avoid hiking etc. in order to minimize the chances of accidentally stepping on innocent victims in the process."

Growing up, upon learning about Jainism and their practice of covering their faces in order to minimize harming insects, I would always look down at the ground before stepping outside my house to avoid stepping on ants. Alas, I have lost this level of high sensitivity, but sincerely wish I could get it back.

Here is another example of what Westerners mean when they say they "love" wildlife:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/did-wildlife-lover-become-one-100029357.html

Quote
How did a wildlife lover become one of the bloodiest poachers in California history?
...
A cottonwood tree near the Parkers’ home was strung up with grisly ornamentation – several dead raptors, all at varying stages of decomposition. Other bodies were scattered around the tree’s base, approximately a dozen in all.
...
The dead raptors recovered on that day in 2018 were only the tip of a blood-red iceberg.

Richard Parker, a seemingly ordinary country gentleman, appeared to have a secret, sadistic hobby and the anonymous tipster had led Kinnard to uncover one of the bloodiest poaching cases in California history.
...
Recollecting the broader examination of the property, Kroll describes a scene of complete carnage within a 300-yard radius of the Parker home. “Every bird within reach of his house, anything he could hit, was lying there on the ground. Dozens and dozens of carcasses.”
...
“As he entered his property by vehicle, any raptors he’d see perched along the access road he’d shoot,” Kroll says. “It was a row of dots along the road and around his home.”
...
The man who relished the hunt

The man wildlife agents took into custody that day had not necessarily lived a life indicative of a future sport killer. Richard Earl Parker was born and raised in Lassen county. He graduated from Susanville high school, and after receiving his bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State University in 1973, he returned to the area to settle down.
...
Indeed, local residents tell the Guardian that Parker viewed the Honey Lake Valley as a manor and himself as its lord.

And like all standard-issue country gentlemen, Parker relished a stalk and a hunt.

Sport hunting in many parts of rural America sits at an awkward philosophical crossroads between conservationism and libertarianism. On the one hand, there is a rationale for the preservation of wild lands, which arises from a mixture of legitimate appreciation for nature and simple supply-and-demand economics: better habitats attract more creatures to hunt. On the other hand, there is a natural tension between the autonomy of the hunter and the conservationist machinations of the state.
...
In the late 1990s, shortly after purchasing the property in Standish, Parker asked state forestry authorities to set a controlled fire on his land. Parker thought the riverside property was a perfect nesting ground for waterfowl. But at the time, it was infested with whitetop, an invasive weed that chokes out competing grasses.

The controlled blaze, administered in November 1999, wiped out a mat of whitetop and made way for the area’s natural weeds and grasses to take root.

“What I was going to grow was wildlife, little critters, waterfowl,” Parker told the Lassen County News just after the fire. “My interest is to have birds and wildlife around me.”
...
“Poaching can be taking one too many trout from a pond, or redirecting a creek on your own property,” says Foy. “But there are individuals who seem to enjoy killing for the sake of killing,” he says, noting that in cases where the body count is as high as Parker’s, it is difficult to identify a motive other than rank cruelty or sadism.

“Who knows what the true extent was,” Kroll says of Parker’s crimes. “We uncovered a hundredfold more than we assumed we’d find. But things don’t last long in the wild. The true extent of the carnage was probably much greater. We truly think that his kill number was so much higher than what we were able to collect.”

Of course the government is no better:

Quote
“Because of the case disposition, a huge sum of money went back into community conservation and education programs,” he explains. Per the California fish code, 10% of fish and wildlife-related fines go to individual county fish and game commissions, which can reinvest those funds to the benefit of local ecology. Seventy-five hundred dollars goes a long way in Lassen county.

They might donate the money to a fishing program for inner-city youth,” Kroll says,

This is why our enemies can write seriously a line like the following that we couldn't even write in parody:

https://vdare.com/posts/was-sean-connery-the-ideal-james-bond

Quote
Fleming loved wildlife and loved killing it. When his friend King George VI died in 1952, Fleming wrote in his diary, ” “I think he was a very good, but probably not a great, shot.”

This "love" is probably the same type of "love" described by the BGM you recently posted:

Similarly, Westerners say they "love" animals, but then eat the animals!

Along similar lines, they describe fishing as an activity for "peaceful" people, even as every fish taken out of water goes through at least as much suffering as George Floyd. Oh wait:

More Western "love":

https://www.yahoo.com/news/going-florida-man-posed-doomed-193019285.html

Quote
A Florida man who is seen in a widely shared Facebook photo smiling while holding up a distressed shark said he isn’t the one who caught the fish and feels bad about posing with it.

“I’ve never seen one before,” Joseph Wilson told the Citrus County Chronicle. “He had a rope tied to its tail and it was still in the water. I said, ‘Can I take a picture of it?’”

The 22-year-old Lutz resident said he then picked it up for “about 10 seconds” before putting it back in the water. “I’m an animal lover. I would never do anything to hurt one.”
...
Witnesses told WFLA that the shark did not survive. The creature was gutted, its blood spilling into the river nicknamed The Chazz.

Note the comments full of idiot Westerners arguing that hatcheries are "not as bad" as factory farms. This was another point I wanted to bring up: most Westerners (both False Leftists and even some rightists) seem to only have a problem with industrial animal "farming". They actually advocate returning to the pre industrial form of livestock domestication on the basis that it is more "ethical"! Of course they occasionally let slip their true intention behind this when they argue how the meat will also be "tastier".

Sustainability comes full circle (as I predicted):

https://www.yahoo.com/news/florida-weighs-allowing-limited-harvest-123717439.html

Quote
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Florida may lift its three-decade ban on catching and killing goliath groupers, with wildlife officials saying the coastal fish's numbers have rebounded from when they were driven to near-extinction by overfishing and environmental damage.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will consider on Wednesday a staff proposal to allow 100 goliaths to be caught and kept annually during a four-year period. Supported by fishing groups, the proposal calls for a lottery to issue $300-per-week licenses that allow each recipient to catch and kill one goliath, with proceeds funding research of the species.

The goliath almost died off in the 1980s from overfishing and pollution and is not allowed to be caught in any other state or federal waters.

The fish is a favorite of underwater photographers for its docile demeanor and mammoth size — adults typically weigh 400 pounds (180 kilograms) but can exceed 800 (360 kilograms). While the species' population is unknown, state officials believe it has grown enough to allow the limited catch.

“Goliath is a recovering stock, becoming more abundant in parts of Florida, especially on artificial reefs,” the commission staff wrote in its recommendation.
...
Coastal Conservation Association Florida, a recreational fishing group, believes the goliath's numbers can handle the limited catch, said Trip Aukeman, its advocacy director.

“The fishery looks healthy and there should be some kind of harvest open to recreational fishermen,” Aukeman said. A limited catch would provide scientists with samples to ascertain the species' health, he said.

This is Western civilization: perpetuate the species in order to victimize the individuals endlessly.

And it begins again:

https://us.yahoo.com/news/illinois-researchers-working-save-ornate-161050294.html

Quote
FRANKLIN GROVE, Ill. (AP) — A team of Illinois researchers is using dogs to track down a threatened species of turtle.

Researchers believe ornate box turtles, once living in half of Illinois' 102 counties, are found in less than 10.

One known home for the species is in Lee County, and a team from the Chicago Zoological Society and the University of Illinois spent Friday surveying the 3,800-acre (1,500-hectare) Nachusa Grasslands.

A team paced through the grasses trying to spot the small turtles, aided by a group of Boykin spaniels that can sniff out the turtles’ trail. When a human or a dog located a turtle, researchers made notes about the reptile's eyes, ears, nose and took physical measurements along with a blood sample.

Just letting the species go extinct would be infinitely preferable to terrorizing the turtles like this! But that's not how Western civilization sees it. The Western attitude can only be explained by a Gnostic worldview. Yahweh created the species, therefore species preservationism is a way of worshipping Yahweh. The individuals, on the other hand, are spirits belonging to the true God, therefore why would Yahweh-worshippers care about them?

Are sharks being used in COVID vaccines?:
http://www.wusa9.com/article/news/verify/what-is-squalene-do-some-covid-19-vaccines-have-shark-in-them-squalene-what-is-squalene-what-are-the-ingredients-in-some-of-the-covid-19-vaccines-fact/65-5afbbdc7-a462-4b27-b4db-fe5358a501d0

Squalene is a fat molecule harvested from the oil in shark liver, and it has been used as an additive to a few COVID-19 vaccines in development.

Anyone who is aware of this but still chooses to take the vaccine fully deserves all the adverse effects of it (unless they were forced to take it). Of course, knowing how the Demiurge works, those probably most affected by the adverse effects would be the ones who were not only unaware of this, but would also be appalled by this. What do you think?

Western cognitive dissonance:

Australia: Mouse plague is poison and is to be fought with the help of millions
...
He announced that he wanted to get approval for a poison that had previously been banned. The so-called promethazine is the “strongest mouse poison” in the world. According to the Minister, “Like the use of Nebam against rats”.

In reality, Western civilization is the poison.

How to do Western science:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/scientists-shot-tardigrades-gun-more-180723566.html

Quote
Scientists shot tardigrades out of a gun at more than 2,000 mph to see if the critters could survive
...
according to a recent study in the journal Astrobiology, even seemingly indestructible tardigrades have their limits.

The researchers shot canisters full of tardigrades out of a high-speed gun at various speeds to see if the creatures could survive the pressure of each resulting impact.

After being shot out at speeds under 900 meters per second (about 2,000 miles per hour) - that's faster than your average bullet - the tardigrades could be revived. Any faster than that, according to Alejandra Traspas, an astrochemist at Queen Mary University in London and a co-author of the study, and they didn't make it.

Being shot more than 2,000 mph meant the critters experienced 1.14 gigapascals of pressure on impact - that's equivalent to the pressure of about 40,000 people standing on your back at once.

"They just mush," Traspas told Science.

Yet science continues to be seen as some kind of sacred profession by most of the world.....

Actually, scientists are probably the best example of our point that there is nothing automatically superior (or even respectable) about people with high IQ test scores.

Indeed, including (unfortunately) most of the formerly non-Western world.

"Actually, scientists are probably the best example of our point that there is nothing automatically superior (or even respectable) about people with high IQ test scores."

Absolutely. I cringe when I see "non-Whites" in Western countries talking about how their countries of origin are inferior because of "low IQ" (e.g. India) and how they should focus on increasing the average IQ test score in order to become "developed".
