Egypt, the most populous country in the Arab world, is facing a crisis: a growing shortage of food and water. How do you feed a population of 113 million people – estimated to grow to 160 million over the next 25 years – when even water is running short? The Nile, Egypt’s lifeline, is under stress. The government is drilling deep into the Sahara to tap underground aquifers and urging families to have fewer children. But are these measures enough? Edouard Dropsy and Mathilde Delvigne report.

Increasingly, I believe that there is a Yahwist collective subconscious process at work which is deliberately trying to trash Earth beyond saving in order to spur Westerners to expand into outer space ASAP.

The Western world is in decline.  Immigration is tearing apart the social contract, and causing ethnic tensions.  Young people cannot find work, and can no longer afford a house.  Debt is crippling governments and households.

In his Tuesday, August 26, 2025 class to his Beijing high school students, Professor Jiang explains that these trends are caused by the aging crisis, in which rich pensioners are dictating policy to the detriment of everyone else. 

He predicts that the gerontocracy will lead to the rise of militaristic and authoritarian governments.

Pakistan is running out of time, and space.

Right now, the country has around 255 million people. And every year, we’re adding almost 4 million more.

That’s roughly more than 300,000 people every month, and over 76,000 babies every week.

If we keep growing like this, Pakistan’s population is expected to double in about 45 years.

So what’s driving this growth? Why is Pakistan growing faster than its neighbours? And what does this mean for jobs, schools, water, and the future of young Pakistanis?
