Bosnia Arrests Five Serb Ex-Soldiers for Srebrenica Genocide

State Investigation and Protection Agency officers arrested five former Bosnian Serb Army officers and soldiers suspected of involvement in the genocide of Bosniaks from Srebrenica in July 1995.

State Investigation and Protection Agency officers arrested five former Bosnian Serb Army officers and soldiers suspected of involvement in the genocide of Bosniaks from Srebrenica in July 1995.

The suspects were arrested in Zvornik, Sekovici, Han Pijesak, Vlasenica and Bileca.

The Bosnian state prosecution said they are suspected of participating in the capture and murder of around 70 Bosniak men and boys, as well as one woman, on July 15, 19 and 23, 1995

The suspects also arranged equipment to have the bodies of the murdered victims removed, it is alleged.

The arrested suspects will now be questioned by the prosecutor in charge of the case.
