Driving Uber in a California city, I gave a ride to a charming, quiet, well-mannered black girl, who sat in the front seat. A few minutes later, we picked up a black woman who was very ghetto and foul-mouthed. She was deep into a loud phone conversation when she got into the back seat. The ghetto woman in back continued her loud conversation about sucking a “catfish n—-r’s d–k”. It was apparently a conversation about fellating a black man with an ugly ****. I asked her to not speak on the phone for the sake of the other rider. The well-mannered black girl told me she didn’t mind, at which point I angrily said that I minded. The ghetto black woman didn’t stop, so I pulled the car to the side of the road, opened up the back door and asked the ghetto black woman to get out so I could “adjust the seat.” When she got out, I closed her door and jumped back into the driver’s seat. Realizing what was happening, the ghetto black woman jumped back into the back seat and started crying and yelling at me that I was being racist. The seemingly sane black girl in the front seat got into the backseat to hug the confused, crying black woman. Together, they called me racist and consoled each other for the rest of the ride, lamenting the cruel world they had to deal with.

They claim one of the acts of bigotry was daughter being sent a meme of a hand holding a stem of cotton bolls with a caption that read “when you ask a black girl to prom.”...When asked if she thinks that her peers would consider themselves racist, Portis said that they would. “They just walk around saying it proudly,” she affirmed....One of the incidents that was filmed and placed on social media was of a white student with a toy gun who claimed that he wanted to kill Black people.
A woman from Dover, New Hampshire, has been convicted by the state's justice department after she told a Black child she'd "kneel on his neck."Kristina Graper, 51, in May of last year threatened the child, a 9-year-old boy, according to a release from the New Hampshire Department of Justice. She had also referred to the child using a racial slur....A civil complaint cited by the Associated Press says Graper's son had pushed the 9-year-old child, who had, as a result, broken her son's foam missile. When her son told Graper how that part of the toy broke, Graper went back to the park, the AP reported, and threatened the child.he Strafford County Superior Court "concluded that this conduct was motivated by the victim's race and had the purpose to terrorize or coerce the victim," the release reads. "The court reached this conclusion after the defendant defaulted by not filing a response to the Attorney General's complaint."The civil complaint says the child "understood the comments to be a reference to the murder of George Floyd last year." Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, who knelt on Floyd's neck last year for nearly nine minutes, was convicted of second- and third-degree murder, as well as second-degree manslaughter.As a result of Graper's behavior, the child does not want to play in the park anymore, the complaint says.
Graper must stay at least 250 feet away from the child and the child's family and received a $500 fine.
Earlier this week, Rachael Rollins, the former Suffolk County district attorney, was sworn in as the next United States Attorney for Massachusetts, becoming the first Black woman to hold that position in the state. Since then, she has faced racist and violent threats after her confirmation process was questioned by many conservative politicians, including Texas Senator Ted Cruz, according to CNN.Yes, the same man who got in a beef with Big Bird referred to Rollins as “extreme,” and “pro-crime,” and “revolutionary.”...Per the story from CNN, “They were saying that she’s hotheaded and insane and accused her of identity politics, but what was really disturbing was the one that went directly to her where they would call her the n-word and the b-word and talking about putting a bullet in her head,” Brown said.
SF man allegedly responsible for half of the city's anti-Asian hate crimes in 2021 released from custody...Derik Barreto, 37, is accused of targeting 20 Chinese-owned businesses and seven others in Chinatown, the Ingleside neighborhood and the Ocean Avenue corridor between April and August of 2021. He allegedly rode on a scooter and used a slingshot, pipe or hammer to destroy the stores’ windows, as seen in several surveillance videos.Following his arrest, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office charged Barreto with a total of 33 crimes, as NextShark previously reported. Those included 27 felony counts of vandalism, four felony counts of second-degree burglary, one misdemeanor count of possession of burglary tools and one misdemeanor count of possession of a concealed weapon.Of those charges, 31 had hate crime enhancements. Barreto allegedly made racially-charged statements to the police, who suggested that he targeted his victims, because they were Chinese....“This scumbag career criminal is not even in jail after being caught in the act of damaging properties.”
A 58-year-old white man is facing hate crime charges for an unprovoked, racially prejudiced attack on three high schoolers at a Volusia County gas station over the weekend, the Sheriff’s Office said.Richard Burnham, 58, directed racial slurs at three Black teenagers and beat the side of their car with a metal pipe outside a Circle K on State Road 415 in Osteen around 3 p.m. Saturday, according to his arrest report.
A Greenfield High School parent is asking that the school's athletic director be fired after her son said the director used a racial slur when speaking to him.Beverly Juarez also said this isn't the first such incident the athletic director has been involved in.Juarez said her son, Omar Surveyor, told her that the school's athletic director, Trent Lower, used the term "boy" in a racially derogatory manner multiple times at school on Jan. 26.According to the NAACP, using the word "boy" to describe a Black person is widely recognized as deeply offensive and reflective of discriminatory intent. The term was regularly used to insult and demean Black men dating back to the time of slavery.Juarez said the incident happened in the school lunchroom when Surveyor went to retrieve his phone from one of his basketball teammates."(Lower) told them, 'Oh you're going to be too long. No fooling around,'" Juarez said, recounting her son's recollection of the incident. "And Omar said 'Why? I'm just trying to get my property back from my friend.' He (Lower) said 'That's it, you're coming with me, boy.'"Juarez said other students at the lunch table and Surveyor told Lower not to call Surveyor that word."Then (Omar) said Trent (Lower) got really close up to his face and said, 'Well, isn't that what you want to be called now, isn't it?", like repeatedly calling him 'boy,' and Omar kept telling him, 'Don't call me that.' He (Lower) challenged him to call me. He said, 'You are just a little boy. Why don't you just call your mom?'" Juarez said.Lower is white, and Surveyor is Black. Surveyor is also a member of the school's varsity basketball team."My son actually really did call me, and I think Mr. Lower didn't know that he had called at first, so I could hear the background noise," Juarez said."And I heard Mr. Lower saying, 'Well, you are a boy. You are just a little boy.' He said 'boy' four or five times just during the time alone that I could hear."Juarez then had her son put her on speaker. She said she told him to go to the principal's office and not to leave until she arrived.Juarez said the school's principal, Todd Willems, apologized to her son and that Willems said Lower admitted to using the slur multiple times. She also said Lower did not apologize."(Willems) explained that he couldn't tell us what would happen, but that something would happen," Juarez said....Juarez said this isn't the first incident of bullying involving the athletic director."We have printed out emails, text messages, Facebook messages from parents telling us their stories and things that have happened on a one-off basis with their children. And some of the stories we were aware of, some we weren't. But apparently the school was aware of it," Juarez said."It's an extended period of time where this man has displayed this behavior with several different students, several different parents," Juarez said...."The Greenfield community, the Greenfield School District, is known for racism and discrimination against people of color," Carter said. "It's not a secret. It's not something that they try to hide very well. It's absolutely despicable. The point is, (Lower) isn't really being held accountable for his actions because he's still going to work every day."
Parents at a Brooklyn elementary school say they’re locked in a months-long battle with neighborhood vandals who keep tearing down Black Lives Matter and Pride flags they hang outside the school.“We’ve lost at least two or three Pride flags, and at this point we’re on our sixth or seventh Black Lives Matter flag,” said Shannon Roop, one of the Parent Teacher Association presidents at Public School 110 on Monitor St. in Greenpoint.Parents hung the flags on a fence outside the school in September to broadcast the school’s commitment to anti-racism and LGBTQ rights, Roop said.“Within a day, they were gone,” she explained.After that, the PTA decided to be more careful — soliciting the help of a parent who works in construction to build a flagpole of sorts to make the banners harder to reach.It didn’t help, the flag stealing continued.

A substitute teacher at Farmington Hills High School was removed from the school Thursday after using a racist phrase toward a Black student.The incident was captured on camera and shared online. The unnamed teacher’s comment prompted students to walk out and protest, according to reports.In the video shared with WXYZ-TV, a woman is heard telling a Black student to “Get your cotton-picking hands off” an object he was touching in the classroom.
Nyack's varsity basketball team captain Harrison Jordan and teammate Kameron Kukielczak were on the court Wednesday night when they heard noises from the crowd. Fans in the Pearl River gym were making noises – monkey and ape noises – as a Black player readied to take a free-throw shot from the foul line."It happened three different times," said Jordan, a senior. "You hear it but you don't believe it."
This was the fourth documented discriminatory incident this academic year at Pearl River High School. In previous incidents, a Gay Straight Trans Alliance billboard and items symbolizing LGBTQ pride were vandalized.

Georgetown University has been taking heat after one of its law professors used a racist term to call on a student—in front of an entire class.In a video that has since gone viral with more than 100,000 views on social media, Georgetown Law Professor Franz Werro is seen sitting at his desk during a lecture on international contracts and sales law on Feb. 10.“So any other surprise or…? What about you, Mr. Chinaman?” he asks as he looks around then room, then points to a student in front of him....“So between this guy and Shapiro, [Georgetown University] is running quite the racist law faculty,” a third wrote, referring to former director Ilya Shapiro’s offensive comments about a Black woman being nominated to the Supreme Court.
Racist posts targeting South Asian students emerge on Boston College’s anonymous social media app...The posts, which pertained to specific students, insulted purported physical attributes of South Asians and compared the group to other minority communities at the school....According to Kaushal, two of the posts read, ”If my Marriage Pact was a South Asian, I would want to kill myself” and “If your last name is Patel, Kumar, Singh, Gupta, or Dhaliwal, like please shut up.”Another post reportedly asked, “Oh, why do Indians always own gas stations or hotels?” and received a response that read, “They don’t usually own it because they’re too poor for that. They just work there.”
