Schiff was born in Framingham, Massachusetts, the son of Edward and Sherrill Ann (née Glovsky) Schiff.[4] He was raised in a Jewish family that moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, in 1970 and Alamo, California, in 1972.[5] In 1978, he graduated from Monte Vista High School in Danville, California,[6][7] where he played soccer and was both the class salutatorian and the student his peers voted "most likely to succeed".[8][9]Schiff received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Stanford University in 1982 and graduated with distinction.[10] He obtained his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School cum laude in 1985.[10][11] Schiff was a member of the Harvard Law School Forum; his tasks included driving guest speakers (including William J. Brennan Jr.) from the airport to campus and back.[12] He also worked as a student research assistant for Professor Laurence Tribe.[12]
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Former U.S. President Donald Trump, who is the Republican presidential candidate, said on Friday he will seek the prosecution of Google if he wins the Nov. 5 election, claiming that the company only displays "bad stories" about him.Trump, in his post on Truth Social, gave no evidence for his assertion about Google."It has been determined that Google has illegally used a system of only revealing and displaying bad stories about Donald J. Trump, some made up for this purpose while, at the same time, only revealing good stories about" Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, Trump said."This is an illegal activity, and hopefully the Justice Department will criminally prosecute them for this blatant interference of elections," Trump said. "If not, and subject to the laws of our country, I will request their prosecution, at the maximum levels, when I win the election, and become president of the United States."
