The obstacles Muslim women face appear in all facets of their lives, including work. However, the times I have met creative people in the fashion industry have all been positive experiences—whether I have encountered designers, fashion editors, or stylists. I have been on numerous shoots where clients were eager to learn about the hijab and are open to explore the identity of today’s Muslim women and how to best portray us. On my first runway, the stylist along with the creative director let me choose between various hijab of the fashion house and allowed me to illustrate different ways I would style the hijab.

The real challenge, and the most discrimination I have felt, comes from the gatekeepers of the industry, mainly those in public relations and casting directors. As a result, I have felt hindered from the opportunity to meet the visionaries behind the brands. Those whom I meet before the client have often been perpetuators of the inaccurate representation of what it means to be a hijabi woman. They are in search of their one girl, their token card, and if you are not willing to play along with their biased perceptions, you are as good as banned from many jobs. They dominate the market and have exclusive control over multiple fashion houses and their strategies.

Indeed many Western culture you consider it as bad, but most of people now using Western-style dress as their primary clothes when they do a formal and serious meeting and activity, so the quality of Western style dress is remain good until now

Perhaps Hitler didn't want to **** off too many military generals when he gained power through election? Even though Hitler himself had served in the military, the Western structural hierarchy was still deeply ingrained within German society, the trinity of the government, the military, and the people, was very much still present. now leads me realize more how bland Western militaries are. I'm also starting to realize that it wasn't until Western influence when militaries started practicing hiding, where soldiers can kill another soldier without them knowing. Camouflage suits this practice while bright colors don't. Back in pre-colonial times, every soldier, regardless of side, were killing in harmony, which meant the color of the uniform didn't matter as much.

You can clearly see the hunter-gatherer influence with camouflage, as it allows predators to destroy their prey without the victim being alerted and thus less able to fight back or flee in time. This is an ignoble tactic to use in warfare, where combat and intent should be openly declared, especially if one is an invading army (after all, if your reasons of invasion are noble, what reason is there to hide?).
