I hate, hate "handheld" wobble cam being added to everything these days.  You shouldn't get motion sickness watching a scene without motion!

This quick multi-cut type of editing is so bad.. it can serve a purpose, like everything - Hong Kong cinema also uses it but with different intension and much more sparingly. And that is the big difference. There they use it to enhance actors that know what they are doing, Hollywood uses it to hide actors who don’t really know what they are doing

This is why I love Hong Kong cinema in the old days

Action these days seems like they took action pulp and extracted the essence out of it and spray it on to give the impression of action.

The 90s had heart and soul

Not just 90s action movies. Almost every genre had some peak movies in the 1990s. Even romantic comedies were at their peak.

Everything from the 90s is my favorite

I reckon you can pinpoint when the look/feel changed was around 28 days later time and digital movies really took off.
